  1. Yeah these two will be my only two that's for sure. And they will be staying in fighter mode as i wont be transforming them.. so no exploding by manipulation!
  2. I paid for mine much earlier when the exchange rate was a little better! But i doubt it wouldn't amount to a huge saving..
  3. cool looking box!
  4. as good as the Bandai came with all its fancy details but if it came like this!?!? Mind Blown! This looks sensational!
  5. Yes you have some good points there. I did have a good think about whether or not if I do really need this variant but seeing I didn't have the original and comparing the improvements between my son'd Brera v1 and my v1.5 that its good enough to justify. Also comparing the colors between the two we have they were improved so I can't see how Bandai won't do the same with the Grace. The super parts im not so fussed about at all as I was never any fond of them on Brera's Valk anyways and never used them. And besides it isn't terribly expensive either and im only buying the one so its not putting me out much if at all.. You'll always be able to pick one up later as im sure there will be plenty of shelf warming with this Valk!
  6. Impressive stuff Yeti! Of course my lowly picture is nothing in comparison to Yeti's cool stuff but seeing its a new arrival I thought I'd still show off my new RVF-171 along side my other CF-171..
  7. She arrived today! super fast postage from Jungle! Is a beautiful thing indeed! Really loving the colors! Looks to be completely intact which is good and im not going to attempt a transformation anyways.. Not liking the fact you can't have the gun pod attached when in fighter mode unless there is a way and im unaware of or simply not seeing how to..? Also to make it a little more unique it would've been nice if the markings said "RVF-171" instead of just "VF-171".. seeing it says it on the box.. A little design detail I think would have worked better on the RVF-171 is rather than having one large sensor fin directly underneath, would have been to have two smaller fins - one on each leg which folded away up the side of the legs for gerwalk & battroid. At least it wouldn't need removing for transformation (which is what I can tell is a required process from the pictures) and be able to stow the gun in its intended spot. All in all im still loving it and glad I finally made the move to get one! No regrets! I will say the one thing I do utterly despise is the N.U.N.S markings.. this was NOT cleverly thought out at all and to be perfectly honest looks downright silly. The amount of stupid comments from people towards this I have had to listen to began to drive me nuts.. Errr no this is not a squadron piloted by nuns you idiot.. The Japanese just don't have a clue when it comes to certain things.. In fact im tempted to cover over these marking with some vinyl on both the RVF & CF!
  8. haha! that's hilarious! gotta say that this has happened to me a few times with ebay purchased items.. although you can't complain about the Tamiya Tyrrell kit! That is a sweet F1 car!
  9. interesting looking process! Is there any finish quality loss from the original part when casting this way? Not that im worried, was just curious..
  10. you reckon!? I thought it looked much more like the YF-23..
  11. haha! yeah it made me do a double take as well!
  12. yeah it was eh.. I think I prefer the TV SDF-1 over the DYRL version. haha! we wish! don't think its ever gonna happen though..
  13. When I do I certainly shall!
  14. looks a lot more dynamic from behind but I couldn't take a decent shot of it..
  15. was feeling a little bored so I thought I'd try pose Isamu a bit better..
  16. or maybe just a better financial plan so it doesn't hurt so much when I do spend money..
  17. well.. well yes my wallet and bank account might file for a divorce!
  18. I would certainly pay to see this!
  19. nice work! this is gonna be good im sure!
  20. yeah I really do like the RVF versions especially the RVF-25! Im not too worried about breakages as I'll be leaving mine in fighter mode on display next the my CF. But from what many others say both here and on other websites, they don't seem to suffer as much as the CF version did. But like I said, I won't be transforming it so im not so worried.
  21. same here! I went with my bro to pickup some shelving and while I was there I checked out these light boxes. They had one on display which was handy! But definitely not going to work for anything I need. Like I mentioned previously maybe a VF-1 in Gerwalk. But no chance of Zero-D in gerwalk.. Even looked too small to display a 1:18 scale car.. And Eriku you are right, the lighting looks much dimmer than in the promo shots. This is a pass.
  22. gahhh those photos on the amiami listing look sooo good! Im so tempted to re-order a second one again!
  23. yes Renato is right seeing that Arcadia does own the molds it wouldn't be such a stretch for them to flick the switch to the on position. And yes going by the molds they own and the release timeline so far it kinda makes sense that we could see the VF-4 coming up next in the production schedule. Bandai however would have to engineer a whole new toy and seeing how the VF-4 is quite a physically complicated toy it would cost them more money and more risk. Yes they did a very good job with their VF-19 Advance but the VF-4G is whole different kettle of fish!
