  1. hehe! yeah I do see what you mean but I think if the Zero-D paint was completely matte it would look even better!
  2. im thinking I might pick up a 2nd VF-0A.. will have some paypal funds coming my way soon which I can use..
  3. hehe! well.... if its a FB2012 version then its quite possible yes! but not just for a re-issue of what I already have.. LOL! dreams are great aren't they! yes for a FB2012 for 18k then im definitely up for a few!
  4. hahaha! no chance! that's gotta be the prototype sitting in a Shin box tray.. which of course im sure you already know! Yeah I had a quick fiddle with my Zero-D and it does seem the ankle does have quite a decent range of articulation. Initially I thought otherwise as its quite tight to begin with but just needs some gentle persuasion and then it gets there fairly easy. So I take it that the joint is double jointed!? I think he meant the boxes the figures were in were just thrown in the box without any stuffing around them to stop them from moving around or being crushed.. I've also had some iffy packaging from HLJ too.. but never to the point where it caused damaged to anything. And yes he should contact HLJ for help as they are quite good when it comes to customer service.
  5. Agreed! The Zero-D color does look the more realistic / real world color compared to the others. And its matte-ish too!
  6. Ahh but you say that now! And when the VF4 hits the shelves im sure you and many others will buy one even if its over 50k! Hehe!
  7. Then printing off their photoshop images and placing them on display instead! LOL!
  8. Hehe! ¥42300 sounds about right! So that means then when ever they re issue the VF-4G that baby's gonna be a ¥50k price bomb! LOL!
  9. Gahhh! Must.try.ube.icecream!! =O The only problem now is that with their release schedule we won't ultimately know how the skull marking are actually going to look for several months seeing this isn't due for release till December.. :/ And they won't bundle it with the reactive armor parts either.. i seriously cant see the armor parts being any less than 20k on their own and with the valks being so expensive individually who do they expect will want to pay over 50-60k for that bundle!? No way..
  10. Yeah that would be cool but seeing how Arcadia is going with their pricing would you or anyone be happy to pay up to 15,000¥ for a non transforming plane!? Cos im telling you now it wouldn't be cheap! Hehe! I had a dream the other night that they announced the renewal Ivanov SV-51 for 2016! I guess we now wait!
  11. Still not up on NY yet.. geez why the hold up!?
  12. im bloody well hoping the release version comes with tampo skulls.. those skull stickers look positively crap!
  13. wow! pics a plenty! but those skull logo stickers look shockingly bad.. Im hoping these pics are only prototype only and the release version won't look like that. its full of paint scratches so this must be a pre production example. And I think they could have come up with a better way to attach the engine inlet covers rather than have a big ugly slot cut out just under the fan blades.. Good thing I always keep the covers on even in fighter mode! Also those leg winglets are a grey color with a hint of blue..
  14. congrats on the new car and congrats on the new job! so what do you plan on doing to it?
  15. Cool! I might have a mess about with mine when I get home..
  16. that looks hectic!! but doesn't the VF-0D have this amount of ankle articulation? I haven't attempted this with my Zero-D so I was just curious..
  17. @EXO That Regult looks incredible!
  18. this was a great movie! I will have to watch it again! I don't think my son has seen it so he might enjoy it!

  20. That's handy ain't it! ahh very good! Better late than never! Box looks in perfect shape! was it a opened or sealed item?
  21. the SW-XA1 Schneeblume is a rather interesting looking plane isn't it! Where does it fin in the Macross timeline? Looks like a bit of all sorts..
  22. sorry i can't remember if it has been mentioned previously and im not going to flick through over a hundred pages in this thread but will the old ghost booster set fit to the new Zero-A?
  23. I'd love to see either a VF-3000 or VF-5000! The VF-3000 wouldn't be that hard to accomplish I'd imagine seeing how its transformation closely resembles the VF-1. And the VF-5000 kinda looks like a mix between a VF-11 and VF-19 so the fundamental basics are already there. It would be awesome to eventually get both! I still think either of these would have been a better choice to go with than the VF-2SS.. I know the VF-2SS gets a decent amount of screen time but it comes from such an odd ball and out of sequence series which to be perfectly honest wasn't very good at all. I found it comparable to M7 which was pretty woeful as well. I'd be a lot more accepting of the VF-2SS if either Bandai or Arcadia were the ones making it and not a company who has had no previous experience with Macross and Valkyries..
