    yep that sure is unfortunate.. isn't there a supporting swing bar or locking mechanism in the 27 like the 25's have that helps support the rear section when in Gerwalk mode? or am I mistaken?

    maybe.. if I was gonna get one it would have to be the Bronco! even if it only switches to a semi-gerwalk mode.. will most likely just stick to my Valkyries..

    hehe! im workin on it! thanks mate! Im going to get rid of that makeshift Lexan shelf that Gamlin's 22 is sitting on and hang him up by fishing line instead. I think he'll look way cooler in a flying pose!

    How "unique" that transformation will be is anyone's guess.. he said a similar thing about the 30 and yet that retained many similarities to existing Valks, the outboard stowed arms, deploy-able missile pod & swiveling waist joint for gerwalk being the major exceptions. I wouldn't be surprised if that Draken Valk's engine displaces in a similar fashion to the YF-30 missile pod making the legs engine-less like a 21 & 22. And Its main wings will probably fold away similar to a SV-51 & VF-27. I don't know how different the design can be in order to follow the basic principals of a Valkyrie 3 modes. The biggest change will be how the middle fuselage / lower to upper chest section for Battroid will deform. The cockpit will still have to remain central to the upper torso in some way or another when in battroid and its legs deploy in the same downward & forward motion to existing Valks in gerwalk. Maybe the air intakes will be part of the upper arm & shoulders? Who knows it might not even get a 3 mode transformation!?!? or at least in the traditional sense. Maybe its gerwalk mode won't have arms or something? That might be its "unique" design feature!?!?

    Don't you like it or you want an "S" instead? My 17S is already on its way so I should have it by early next week and if I decide if im going to finish Diamond Force or not and if you still have your 17D in a week or two I may be interested in taking it off your hands..

    Macross Delta.. Macross Delta.. MACROSS DELTA!!! But seriously.. yeah a Bandai version of the VF-1 would be interesting considering how good their VF-19 Advance turned out. And the other good thing is that they wouldn't release many of them. Probably a hero Valk or two such as Hikaru or Roy with SS parts and not to the extent Yamato did with their v2 line. YF-30 repaints or VF-30 variants with option parts would be good too! Im officially done with all the other Frontier Valks (25, 27, 29 & 171) and don't think we need any more repaints or versions of them either.

    ahhh ok cool.. some of the HK stores I have purchased form in the past seem to have closed.. HKC included? I'll keep looking around. So you would sell off your VF-17D already? didn't you just get it? Or did I misread your post..?

    even if we could do that then knowing our luck we'd probably knock the planet off its orbit and everything will go down the gurgler.. That could work too but I don't think they left us the spare key to start the bloody thing..

    Incredible work you have done to both of these ships! They look sensational! The 1/2000 especially! It must be huge! Considering the 1/3000 is not a small ship to begin with!

    yeah I gave it a quick Google and saw that. Still the ones do switch modes do it well but.... just not anywhere as good as a Valkyrie does! Although I do rather like the Bronco!

    have to agree also.. I too have seen the documentary and I didn't think there was enough depth to it or any reason to dramatize it into a full fledged movie let alone shoot it in 3D? Meh.

    220 for a 17D is a good price! And yes while you're on a roll you may as well pick up the 17S! May I ask where you found your 17D?

    same with the VF-19F & S.. The S were always cheaper which made making Emerald Force a more expensive exercise. Oh yeah from purchase to payment to shipping notice for the VF-17S in under 15 minutes!!! that's gotta be a new record! Way to go jungle! Although I know the tracking info wont show up till tomorrow but still that's pretty bloody impressive!
