you're right im sure they could have implemented some kind of notch or locking tab to click or lock in place but I think the gun being small and the small hinge parts have been tiny & fiddly it may have proven difficult to engineer into. its the same situation for Michael's sniper rifle.. those fold out arms really need to lock in place. I have noticed over time that they can droop down a bit. Im occasionally lifting them back into place And yes its the same with the YF-29 split barrel guns.

silly question.. I tried googling it but couldn't really find what "GBP" actually stands for. I had assumed it was an abbreviation for something but the best I can find is "Ground Combat Protection Weapon System" My son asked the question and I kinda felt a little stupid not knowing the answer considering Macross has been in my life for so long.. anyone know anything more specific?

No not weird.. just expensive! But on a serious note, personally i wouldn't. I love collecting the anime figures as they don't lean towards looking like dolls. I much prefer the miniature statue look. Those things are a little extreme for my liking.. The world is a crazy place and like i said it's not weird so do what ever makes you happy! Also not diggin the horned chic so much either..

Yeah those long rifles of the 27 are a pain in the rectoid to try and sit properly straight when opened! They just want to flop about the place. It took me several goes to get them lined up and i kept bumping them whilst attempting to pose the bloody thing in battroid.. i dare not touch or even look at it for too long in fear it might move!

I love the head designs of the 19S & F too but the P just kicks arse! And the longer wings are beautiful! Sucks to know your 19P got damaged in a fall.. Funny enough my 19kai fell off its flightpose stand just the other day! One of the stalks clamping screws obviously wasn't tight enough and eventually succumb to the weight causing the bird to topple over! Luckily it didnt have very far to fall and it suffered no damage!

Maybe it's something they corrected for the renewal 25's but the v1.5 27's drew the short straw..? Hope your possible solution works for you! And yes let me know how you go with that pose idea!

They look great! the Regult's im referring too.. Maybe a tad on the small side but still should be a good toy when they come out! I definitely want the Monster but maybe I might just pick up a Regult too just for the heck of it! Love the battle scene photo!
