Thanks abbadon! I'll only get 17D's but they gotta be at the right price! Or else I simply wont. Makes me wonder if they'll ever be re-issued? But then they won't be so cheap anyways.

if you squint your eyes you very clearly see a VF-4! And you can also see slightly darker areas on the vertical stabilizers which could even suggest Skull logos! if they do a Hikaru repaint then I'll definitely be in for one! But the question is price! Im guessing high 30's or even into the low 40k yen.. Of course I certainly hope not but following their recent pricing trends with their latest releases im not seeing it any other way.

+1 for this! I have a the odd broken shoulder VF-1 and they are fine as long as you are super gentle with them or don't touch em! But yeah for that price you'd buy it just for the parts! And then keep the VF-1 on display in fighter!

I loved my Zoids when I was a kid! Biggest mistake I made was giving them all to my cousin in exchange for some Robotech manuals..

Moving parts? I doubt it.. And effects parts definitely not! That's another of Arcadia's potential cash grabbing milk items.. The only metals parts we'll see will be the pins for the missile bay doors! And back to the correct thread we go!

my VF-17S arrived.. it has clearly been opened and used but is in good condition. It does have loose upper shoulder joints and a few small paint chips though. Everything else seems fine and tight enough. There is a small yellow paint chip on the right leg and a tiny little mark on the gray visor bit of the head. I should be able to match up some paint at work to correct these. The yellow in particular as the gray paint on the visor isn't as noticeable. Its a fiddly thing to switch modes too and I had to refer to Jenius transformation guide on his website. The hip joint rotation was a pain in the ass too! But all in all I managed to get it all done easily enough. So what are my thoughts on it.. Its HUGE! especially in battroid! even with the legs retracted to their shortest setting. It just barely fits under my Klingsbo shelf height! Looks pretty tough too even when in a neutral pose which im forced to do so due to display space restrictions. I have him holding the gun pod foregrip which seems to work well. There are no tampo markings and the panel lining is also virtually non existent either but I guess it doesnt't matter so much being such a dark color so you'd hardly see the lines anyways. I do like the gun stow gimmick with extendable cover panels and the movable knee joint filler panels are also a nice touch. But head adjustment seems limited. Overall I guess I am liking it, im just not loving it. Definitely not enough to justify buying two VF-17D to complete Diamond Force squadron. Unless I have a huge wad of spare cash to blow and not care in doing so.. So for now I think the one VF-17 will do me just fine. Here are some pics..

it is indeed a lot of plastic! in a way almost too much plastic.. but im gonna stick to my guns on this one and bet it'll be mid to high teens price for sure. Making it roughly 50% of a latter Valks msrp.

I had a Bird Of Prey and although it looked ok when in fighter mode it was a bit lanky in battroid and forget trying to pose it in gerwalk. It couldn't support itself at all. And it was a floppy mess and would even droop in the middle when in fighter mode too. You're far better off grabbing the 19P for sure! You won't regret it!

I wish they would bring the Cadillac CTS-V to Australia to replace the Holden Commodores after they are killed off in 2017.. but I doubt that's gonna happen..

Wish they'd list the reactive armor alongside the Zero-S.. :/ probably wont see that till march or april at the earliest..
