    hehe! I wouldn't be surprised if that's just an original Yamato example pictured! Can't see how it could have any less tampo than they already don't!

    wow that photo sure shows the world of difference between a Valkyrie and a TF.. glad I chose to collect Macross instead! no disrespects to the TF nuts out there of course!

    well there you go eh.. I mean we knew this anyway from those original blurry pictures which showed no yellow nose cone. Still its disappointing. This is officially a pass for me.

    yeah there is one or two on the YJA sites.. haven't checked ebay.. not sure I will either. I'll be definitely going with the Bandai anyways!

    as per the line art anyways they both have their good and bad points.. but as a toy im more content with the Bandai and I think my son will appreciate it more than the Yamato. The Bandai just seems to be the more complete toy and my son more so prefers the Bandai product than Yamato or Arcadia. There are a couple of Bandai VB6 available but I can't even seem to find one Yamato anywhere!? Im still waiting for a 1/60 scale Destroid Monster HWR-00-MKII too! And I will certainly pay through the nose for it!

    Even if they offered both variants!? Receive revenue from both! And the fans win too! But I'd imagine those who would have picked up the original color variant anyways would then opt for the FB version instead if it were also made available. That's what I would do.. There would still be plenty of people who would still want to get the original that missed out the first time but these things aren't going to be cheap or at least anywhere near the price they originally sold for so not many will be able to afford to buy both.. Im predicting min 36k to 42k max. Doubt it will be more but I'll be very surprised if its less!

    hehe! im sure he meant to say 27.. And yes Saburo's photos really enhance the look of these Valks! And most others to be honest!

    Thought I'd have a go at recreating this pose! I kinda got there. Bloody fiddly thing work with and the right arm shoulder joint is loose already.. can barely support the wight of the gun but I did manage to tighten up the joint a bit. Im happy with the result! Thought it would look even cooler wielding his knife too! based on this..

    If we don't get the FB12 scheme variant then customizing is the only next option.. for me though that idea is a little frightening due to the cost of the thing to begin with and as you mentioned the potential to stuff it up. Myself I don't posses the skill or patience so that is not an option for me unless I commission someone else with the skill & talent to do it for me!

    for me its plain and simple.. FB12 markings = YES Original release colors = NO Question is then when will they release it? Has there been any mention of that? My guess still is 2nd quarter 2016 after VF-0S & RA parts..

    I don't think there was much if any love left between them by the time M7 came along was there? They seemed quite estranged throughout the series.. I was sure they would actually reunite by the end of it but those hopes were dashed.. oops is that a spoiler alert comment!? hehe!

    I dunno why but doing this just completely skipped my mind!?!? I will certainly check both reviews out. But from the comments so far its leaning towards the Bandai.. hehe! I would love to get him both but he already has other items on his xmas list which he doesn't want to sacrifice.. This is the general feels im getting so more than likely its gonna be the Bandai! hehe! and again! Yes the Bandai does have the edge when it comes to detail, tampo in particular which I think he would rather have especially the "wings of goodbye" version. Looks like it will be the gun option!

    Hey guys, my son has put on his xmas wish list a Konig Monster but seeing im not a big fan of them personally i wouldn't really know which is the best version to be getting for him? I'm looking in terms of build, detail, durability, flaws / issues, availability and price point. If you guys could help me out with this i would very much appreciate your thoughts and suggestions! Many thanks!
