  1. hehe! geez they must be bad then!
  2. how did he manage to get that wrong so many times!?!? some people just should drive cars! I had a 40 series shorty years ago.. too thirsty, too slow and too bumpy! don't miss it..
  3. hehe! 2059..
  4. I rather like that design! Does indeed have elements of both the 11 & 30. That air intake design would also mean no visible intakes at the top of the legs whilst in battroid similar to the 21 & 22. With that design shown above it kind of makes more sense especially in the interest of packaging and not having to accommodate for a extensive air channeling throughout the air frame or at least upper leg sections.
  5. Watching the documentry the pilots said they had trouble landing the enlarged wing version due to the extra thrust at idle and the enormous amount of lift those larger wings produced! She just didn't want to stop flying! The "B" variant is definitely my fav though! Love the more conventional style cockpit over the original "bubble dome" style.. I went and bought Just Flights Canberra PR9 for FSX and its just beautiful!
  6. absolutely no rush at all! Im sure we are all happy to wait longer for a perfect product!
  7. Yeah Bandai should so do a SDF-1! But which version would you prefer? TV or DYRL? A Bandai VF-4!? that would be one heck of a deviation from their current line.. well with their 1/60 scale toys anyways. I wonder if they would ever do the VF-4 for their Hi-Metal R line? Not that I'd ever be interested in it but I know plenty of others would be!
  8. 11! hehe! just kidding.. I'd welcome another Max & Milia pairing for sure! Even if im not that interested in the Valk they feature in! Spares!? how many of dem tings you got anyways!? hehe!
  9. Yeah that's always an option. So when is this father of the year award actually gonna be announced!? hehe! He's definitely a Bandai kinda kid!
  10. I've given up on the battle with dust.. no matter what I've tried dust simply continues to settle on everything. And the Ikea cabinets are like trying to hold water in a pasta strainer. I now try to give everything a clean at least once a month.
  11. Is that the one with the bigger wings?
  12. only problem with that being by now those who are in the market for a VF-4G would most likely be aware of the re-issue and hold off buying till they actually release. I guess there will always be some folks who aren't aware of which you could get lucky with!
  13. I suppose the CF-RVF would be a pretty sweet thing to have! But then its just another color variation of something we already have.. If Bandai did make then knowing me I'd probably buy it anyways.. And yeah I forgot the fact that many deep space colonies wouldn't necessarily have the latest Valkyrie technology meaning that cameo's or regular appearances of older variants are indeed more likely. I stand corrected!
  14. Looks like I will get my chance to see it again! I didn't want to go alone but now my girlfriend who hasn't seen it yet want to go so here's my chance!
  15. was at the Temora Aviation Museum last week and saw one of my post war favorites the English Electric Canberra! Ultimately I do kinda prefer the Americanized version the Martin B-57 with its more conventional cockpit design among other things.. Here is a documentary on the B-57. Its quite interesting! https://youtu.be/avCW7WIqVB0
  16. I saw part 2 with my son last week.. was ok. I think part 1 was telling the story a little better and they kinda lost their way in some spots with p2.. But overall I rather enjoyed it all! The effects were quite decent too!
  17. Great news Jason! Don't forget to show us some pics of your progress! Cant wait to get this thing!
  18. very impressive work frankell! I think both styles look fantastic! As Aurel said, im also more used to seeing the second style and the first does look more comic like but again that isn't a bad thing. I would happily have either style if it were to ever be published. I very much look forward to more and keep up with the fantastic work!
  19. that must be a joke eh! But I feel no sympathy for the idiot who would ever consider or actually purchase this for that BS amount of money!
  20. a CF version of a RVF-171? hmmm nahhh that ain't ever gonna happen. Kinda defeats the purpose anyways as its more a specialized variant and not needed in large numbers. Interesting idea but yeah nahhh. The only problem with cameo appearances is the further set in the future the new series will be it wouldn't really make a lot of sense for any airforce to be using any older overly obsolete designs.. Maybe we'd see VF-17, 19 & 22s but anything older than that seems rather unusual.
  21. jolie laide as the French would say! well kinda anyways..
  22. yeah I saw this one.. bit expensive.. I was eyeballing that one from Jungle but before I commit to anything I need the final go ahead from my son. I told him I found one and was ready to buy it but he told me to wait as he is just looking into a few other xmas options before making a firm decision.. Only problem is waiting too long I may miss out on the good priced ones.. Oh and I did see that Yamato one on AE but he is adamant that it must be a Bandai..
