Yikes! $50! Those customs fees are pretty steep! What country you in? If the legs don't fall off, has no damage or put was together correctly then it definitely will be worth it!

hehe! yeah sure is! Well I figured that the Angel Bird being a aerial acrobatic display Valkyrie didn't really need to have one fitted.. not sure they were present in the anime either. Might check that out.

That is so awesome! I'd love to ride one for real and see how it actually handles compared to my GSX-R1000! -
I had a spare gun pod laying around and an insatiable curiosity to see for myself what the VF-4 looked like when fitted with a gun pod under its belly! And I have to say that I really like it! So much so that I am going to leave it fitted on it! And the gun pod grip actually fits in that slot on the underside quite well and not too tight at all! Of course it has to be removed for transformation but seeing that this particular VF-4 will never see that process then it can stay fitted for good! And when I get my VF-4 re-issue which will be for battroid then I will use the gun pod from my VF-X! Easy! Here are some pics!

Its all good mate! Really looking forward to receiving this thing but perfectly happy to wait!

cool idea Axeley! how sunlight or weather resistant are these? I ask as I purchased some Kite logo stickers from ebay a few years back to stick on my car and bike but they faded and deteriorated quite rapidly forcing me to remove them.

yeah I wouldn't risk it either.. if you can get away with trimming that area down in order to get the forward fuselage to join properly then that is your best bet. And like you said previously, you won't see the altered part anyway so basically you get away with it. Regarding the nose gear bay door sitting flush then you could always shave or trim down the two protruding bits of plastic too unless it doesn't bother you much. Personally I hate gluing anything! but I imagine they can get away without gluing some parts during production but others might make assembly difficult or effect the functionality of the toy if certain parts are not glued in place. In this case it looks like who ever assembled this particular Valkyrie was approaching end of shift and carelessly just rushed it to get it done before knock off time! This is only simple theory of course..

that does look good there doesn't it! Almost like its meant to actually be there! But yeah as Mommar said, forcing it to fit in there might cause issues down the track. The VF-4 does have built in cannons but it would still have been cool to see it with a separate gun pod of some sort or another. Sometime in or towards the end of Feb if im not mistaken..

Indeed it would be very easy to mix and match parts to accomplish it. But yeah knocking some sense into Arcadia is a whole different thing entirely. If one could afford to do so then you'd buy several of each variant and do the mix up yourself but I for one couldn't afford that and my painting skills are not anything near the average they even once use to be. And I would be too afraid to screw something up on such an expensive toy.

just checked both of mine and they seem fine. But thanks for the heads up Axelay! Instead of pushing them in further, are you able to push them out and check for any obstruction stopping it from seating properly?

might have to look into which limbs and organs I don't really need that I can sell to raise the money to buy all of these! either that or resort to prostitution..

Apologies if this has been mentioned already but did anyone noticed that the lead SV-262 has a different nose section to the others in the squad? Its slightly longer and has a few minor detail differences. So it would seem that this fighter will also have variants too. Again many apologies if this has been previously covered..
