  1. Hey Jason, not hassling of course but its been a few weeks since your last update and I was just wondering how things are progressing? Like I said, no hassles.. just curious.

well I guess they gotta make money from somewhere hey.. I paid 23,180 at NY and 4,000 for shipping so that makes them about even..
  3. yeah have to agree that a few areas the proportions are a little off but its not so bad. Regarding the antenna.. you could just use a teeny drop of glue and im sure they'll stay in! mine seem to stay in fine.

did CDJ just drop the pre-order price for the HMR Monster?? could have sworn it was 25k.. now 20k! http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/product/NEOGDS-181260
  5. still not a bad price but if you remember how much they wanted for these in Mandarake only up until not that long ago! 30k+ You'd be crazy not to buy it from CDJ or Ami!
  6. Firstly I have to say im sorry to hear your Valkyrie got damage but I also have to say that I do rather like you modifications! Looks quite clean without the wing boosters and the canards in the rearward position are also a nice touch! I did that to my original SV-51 which I much preferred and im also tempted to switch them around on the 3 I have now! Its just a scary thought to modify them as they are mint examples and I don't want to screw them up.. That is pretty cheap for an Alto Valk!
  7. Hehe! That's just an RC plane buzzing around!
  8. Yes I definitely think so! Im more than sure than that I'll get a second one! So whats my take?? Yes im very impressed by it! I had my concerns due to its small size and realtively cheap price but they are very nicely detailed and being a smaller size means they won't take up a huge amount of display space. I also need to save up for it as being off work sick doesn't bring in the regular amount of cash I normally do.. yes on all counts! The small size worked out very good as it meant I didn't need to perform a major display shuffle in order to fit it in! Just slid one of the VF-1 toys slightly over and vuala she fit! The HMR Monster on the other hand is going to present a real problem.. Hmmm in some spots it does look like the panel lining has been darkened slightly but its kinda hard to tell or it could be that light isn't getting in making them look darker than they actually are. Either way im not fussed. Yes it does have lots of nice detailing! That was one of the initial concerns being such a small toy but thankfully they have done a nice job in that department! I had to get mine on display asap and it looks fantastic doing so! Happy days!
  9. Australia Post strikes again..

    Bandai DX VF-31

this is one of the reasons why im thinking of buying only the VF-31A (if they actually do a DX toy of it) as it will most likely be a more neutral/plain/cannon fodder-ish paint scheme. All the rest do look like an air show team.. LOL! yes she sure is a glamour eh! such a shame they couldn't find a use for her to enter production.. oh well.. what could have been.

hehe! only sh!t stirring of course! respect where its due..
  12. Yes!!! finally arrived! lovely little thing! very impressed and pleased with my purchase! Even though there is a small element of "partsforming" involved, its only minor and im leaving the thing in cruiser mode anyways so I don't particularly care! Might buy a 2nd one to display in attack mode! Oh and just as thought and expected, the delivery details on the EMS label were indeed 100% correct.. sh!ts me that Australia Post felt they had to lie to me rather than be honest and just say that they screwed up. Chewed them out over the phone about it after just for some personal satisfaction. Hopefully they actually absorb the feedback..

    Bandai DX VF-31

because its so cheap im kinda tempted but not sure i want to start up another scale line of models/toys.. and the fact its gotta be built/painted is another turn off. Looks darn cute though!
  14. that's a good half meter tall! impressive!
  15. simply going by the size of just one arm up against the VF-0S, that thing must be friggin enormous when fully assembled!!

    Bandai DX VF-31

yes definitely not impressed by that landing gear detail.. looks like something ET would do. Like I said I hope the Bandai DX toy is massively improved over this. If not then the plane won't ever be displayed with its landing gear deployed.

    Bandai DX VF-31

interesting the way the gear would fold out! I do like the concept but those wheels clearly aren't meant to roll.. or so it would appear so. I hope the 1:60 toy will have proper functioning wheel and maybe a little more strut detailing.
  18. mine was on board for delivery for Monday but due to the continuing incompetency of Australia Post who attempted delivery to the incorrect location then blamed HLJ for putting the incorrect delivery address which somehow seems to have miraculously corrected itself and is now meant to be delivered tomorrow which im not holding my breath to and to be honest who knows when it will arrive as not even their customer support could tell me which sorting facility the parcel is actually at as they didn't even know themselves.. I would have had this bloody thing already but once again I have to put up with the usual crap and excuses from what has to be one of the worst mail delivery companies I so painfully have no choice but to use.. yes im having a rant cos I need to vent my frustration as this is rapidly becoming a regular occurrence.
