LOL! all my stuff is insured so go for it dude! but seriously I would appreciate it if you didn't.. insurance is a great thing to have but im rather attached to my stuff! Yeah it sure is a nice figure eh! I had been eyeballing one for quite some time actually! The last time I saw them they were up over $100 if I remember correctly but then only recently I found this one on ebay of all places! A guy in Hong Kong was selling it and I got it for quite a bargain! About $40 (aussie) delivered! My only question about the low price was if it was a genuine item or a fake/copy. It looks legit but I don't really have a sure fire way to tell.. But its pretty nice so im perfectly happy all the same! -
hehe! im sure he could!

looks cool man! Freyja's cute as a button! -
Don't get me wrong I do like the DYRL SDF-1 but a proper 1:3000 TV ver. would be insane! And not that I think that much of it either but I'd also take a M7 Battle7 over a Macross Quarter.. The other problem with these huge capital ships is where to display the bloody things!? I know they won't fit in my display cabinets! LOL!

that's awesome!! I'd love to have a few minty sealed boxes signed and maybe even framed in a clear cube display!

sweet! nice and early! gives me something to watch whilst im bored out of my brains here at work! -
yeah I have to say I much prefer it with the black canopy frame! helps break up the somewhat bland overall color scheme a little. Not that the Shin type doesn't look good as it is.. its looks great! I painted the frames with a fine tipped marker pen.. worked pretty well actually! Though during cleaning I found a few teeny spots that I missed or could go over again which I might tackle sometime. You can't notice them from the photo but I know they are there and the thought of them bugs the crap outta me! LOL! And I have to say im not one to handle my toys very much at all but messing about with these things whilst they were out during cleaning was a real pleasure! They are massive!, have a good weight to them feel good in the hand! Kinda like the VF-1 do but on a much larger scale! Makes me appreciate how lovers of the 1:48 line feel about those toys! And in direct comparison, I swapped the shelves around and put the SV-51's back on the bottom shelf and as much as I love those things they feel positively awful to handle.. I sure do hope they get a renewal at some stage!

how good would that be eh! sadly none exist.. or to the best of my knowledge!? -
my son went and saw this today and he said it was rubbish and couldn't wait for it to finish and get out of the cinema.. And that's without him ever seeing either of the original movies. So I can only conclude that it was indeed a total bag of crap.

If Bandai decide to do a DX Elysion then I'll be all over that like s@#$ to a blanket! I never did like the Macross Quarter very much both as a toy or in the series and the 1:3000 SDF-1 is for the foreseeable future nothing but a pipe dream..

hey thanks guys! I have a CM's Minmay too and the boxes for both figures look pretty true to each other so yeah im hoping its a legit piece! I have bought other figures in the past, both Macross and non Macross and I've unknowingly bought fakes.. which does suck but some of them still looked pretty good quality. This Isamu looks pretty good and yes everyone should have one in their collection! It would be cool to have a Guld figure standing next to or behind him looking all mad and jealous! And a Myung figure too! -
absolutely love the Cats Eye! this build should prove to be very interesting indeed! Looking forward to seeing it completed!

my CM's Isamu Dyson arrived today! Even though it was quite cheap from what I can tell it looks like the genuine article.. even if its not genuine (not that I could actually tell anyways.. pointers anyone!?) he still looks cool so wot evs eh! anyways he looks great on display next to his YF-19! And he stands up on his own so I don't even need to use the crappy included base! -
yep that's how I removed them in the past, though not always successfully I might add..
-
ouch! that sure as hell sucks.. has anyone else suffered a breakage with a HM-R toy before this? if that is die-cast then yes gluing simply won't work at all.. or to such a limited extent especially if the joints are super tight. Could you cannibalize any parts off an original Hi-Metal toy?

some Alfa 155 goodness!

this is looking fantastic! keep up the good work!
