so my son doesn't want the VF-25 skull custom anymore so I decided to absorb it into my collection and put it on display! yeah its a little rough and a little broken but it still looks pretty good on display! as long as you don't look too closely..

well yeah I suppose the 31 is really just an evolution of the 30 so you'd expect a few refinements and improvements! Im just not so keen on the new rear undercarriage design.. but I guess im not so fussed as I simply wont display it with gear extended. Easy!

my cousin was over on the weekend and was checking out my Macross stuffs.. he saw the Arcadia VF-4 in its battroid action pose and said.. "why does that one look like its half transformed?" and I was like.. "hehe yeah... that's just how the VF-4 looks in battroid.. not the prettiest tool in the shed in that mode.."

I live not too far from Richmond airbase and years ago we'd get the odd warbird fly over but its been very quiet the last few years. We do get Hornets & Super Hornets fly over occasionally but they aren't based there so it must be for exercises only.. I think they are based out at Williamtown RAAF base.. Wish I could see more of these things than I do..

hehe! yep that's it exactly! this will be my fourth LS engine'd car.. had three LS1 Commodore's in the past which were good but but the 5.7's started showing their age eventually. One also was a little slappy and tended to burn more oil than the others ever did. woops! out of thread topic again! I guess im just in a constant state of buzz with my new car! -
they are mental little machines! a mate just upgraded to the latest model shape WRX but I think I prefer the previous gen shape.. On several occasions I got close to buying either a WRX or EVO but settled on something else a little more tame.. my girlfriend had an EXO X which she had modified and that thing was stupid quick! 600+ hp! with an overboost, all alcantara interior, super light weight wheels, all carbon body kit parts, carbon bonnet & boot lid.. it was a pretty trick bit of kit. She sold it to a work colleague and bought a 2010 Porsche 911 S.. but I have to admit the Porsche was nicer! LOL! even if it wasn't as fast..

Nice Subey mate! Yep the G8 & Chevy SS are a Commodore! but in left hand drive.. the Pontiac G8 was built using the VE model range (06-13) which were good but the Chevy SS uses the newer VF range (13-present) which even though are pretty much the same chassis / platform with updated styling and specs, but have been upgraded and improved significantly! The VF dynamics & build quality are a leap and bound improvement over the VE! I drove a used low mileage VE series 2 before I finally decided to buy new instead and the new VF drove sooo much better! The difference is actually quite astonishing! it was really chalk and cheese! I was sold! I had to have one! suppose this should probably continue in the automotive thread! LOL!

surprise surprise the Monster arrived today! Picked up the new car today! today was a good day! what a beast! sitting proudly on the bonnet of the Commodore! I wonder if he thinks its his! cool! very cool indeed!
