I think it would be rather cheeky of Arcadia to ask anything at or over 20k for these parts.. seeing that they are more or less just static add on parts with minimal functionality, unlike a far more complex Valkyrie. I think a price tag of about 50% of what a Valkyrie is worth is far more acceptable. But yeah this is Arcadia we are talking about so everyone should expect the worst.. I can confidently say that I doubt that will happen..

yeah I'll definitely be buying em thats for sure! And I think for the next Macross series needs a departure from what they've done previously. Macross the ride would be pretty cool to see as a series. And it would be cool to see them release those unique variants as 1:60 toys!

I'll only be ordering one set..

yep indeed. so that timing roughly places it in between the two Bandai DX Delta releases which is good. and im pretty sure I won't bother buying another VF-0S just for these parts.. they too expensive and I don't have the display space.

Kakizaki's tan colored VF-1A in the TV series is as close to "hero" as a (sorta) brownie Valk is gonna get im thinking.. there is probably a list somewhere but I think its just going to say what has already been said about brownie hero valks and their non existence.. but hey I could be wrong!

yeah as previously mentioned, Virgin Road is a VF-1D and the other a VF-1J. The Virgin Road has a different head unit, cockpit section and different chest and back plate sections. And the heat shield..

trade a 30 for a 4G? No I wouldn't. Especially not for an Arcadia re-issue.. not that the 30 deserves the prices they are demanding now anyways. Yeah they're nice but they ain't silly money nice.. And trade for an original Yamato 4G? To be honest I probably wouldn't do that either.. I think only the more hard core collector will want to pay Yamato money now that the Arcadia 4G is here has dropped demand for the Yamato substantially. Yeah I have one and paid too much for it but getting a Arcadia 4G very cheaply being the exact same thing but in a different box has taken the shine off the Yamato. So yeah im my opinion, dont trade.

when I restarted my Macross collection back in 2012, the 'sensibly priced Valkyrie' ship had already set sail.. oh well. Just means cos I paid more for most of em that I'll just have to appreciate them a lot more! hehe!

originally yeah they weren't priced bad at all and then afterwards some became shelf warmers and I saw a few v2 VF-1 sell on Mandarake for as little as 4000 to 5000 yen!! crazy stuff! mine have mostly cost me a right fortune..

hehe! this is an understatement! I'd give up internal organs, limbs and even a degree of my mental health before giving up my VF-1 Valks!
