Something a little different.. Dick Johnson's Bathurst 1000 qualifying lap crash in 1983. my family and I were there that year for the top ten shootout and we saw the car after it was returned to the pit area. What a mess! This car was friggin awesome! it had such a powerful track presence! The monster of the grid! Such a shame it ended up being destroyed. Miraculously Dick still competed the race in a similar car purchased from another team and hastily repainted overnight to the same color scheme and fitted with his own engine. Lining up on the grid with the fresh paint on the car still wet! But his race was plagued with troubles and Dick described the of the car as "handles like a pig"! He retired only a few hours into the race. A year he would dearly like to forget.

very nice! My son also has one of those Ford GT's! Congrats on the VF-19P! so what do you think of it? I got an email reply from them today apologizing for the delay and that it will be posted out as soon as possible. No actual reason for the delay was given so god only knows what the problem may be.. yes they do kinda suck. -

well don't I feel like a jack ass.. I cancelled my HLJ order and went with NY only for them to be taking their time processing it.. why would they be sitting on it for so long? I emailed them but in typical NY fashion, no reply yet. -
they certainly look very good but do I want to keep collecting girl figures.. I'll think about it.

where did you buy your Mirage figure mind me asking? NY sent an order preparation notice email days ago now and they still haven't shipped mine out! wtf are they doing? good to hear that its a good figure though! -

you can just imagine! yeah! 100 Valkyries at $500 each which covers cost of replacing each one with shipping. That is a rough average and includes appreciation of Valkyrie pricing over the last few years. Hey I gotta cover myself appropriately! Oh and enough is never enough! even 4 of.. -
got order preparation notice the other day for the Mirage figure but still no shipping notice.. anyone else got their shipping notice yet? Not making a fuss, just curious.

Hehe! I'll happily wear the blame Noel! Im not sure Autoart ever did a Rothmans livery 959.. but I'd have to check. I had a silver road car 959 by AA in my former collection and was in fact eyeballing getting one again! There are plenty of other very nice Porsche models, 911 for example out there available. I did briefly consider one of those Redbull concept cars but decided against it in favor of something else. They are ok I guess but im not a huge fan of concept cars. I'd rather have actual production models in my collection. Is there anything else you're considering? -

gee that's a tough one.. there aren't many of these for sale anywhere that I can see other than on ebay.. here's one I found doing a quick search but I have seen them go for cheaper elsewhere in the past. Yep spot derex! The grey is nice but I love it in the purple! There was a white one I found elsewhere for a bit more but I already have an Aventador in white and didn't want another Lamborghini in the same color.. Cost me 15k yep shipped, Lolicon. -

I decided against getting a 3rd CF VF-171 for now and bought that model car I'd been umming and ahhing about. Besides it was quite a bit cheaper including postage than the Valkyrie was without! Lamborghini Murcielago SV LP-670-4.. should look great with my other cars!
