Just checked my tracking info and my Draken is definitely on the move and scanned at the outward office of exchange so im hoping it fly's out today in order to miss the public holiday closer in Japan tomorrow.

international shipping has been pretty good for me, its local shipping within Australia which has caused me a number of head aches. I've had packages arrive damaged (including the items inside) which I came to the conclusion that international items that arrived with package damage was done within Australia, I've had items I purchased from the neighboring states (Vic to NSW for example) be misdirected to the other side of the country (WA) or even shipped outside of the country to NZ and even as far as Hong Kong! Sydney's major postage hub is the Chullora depot and I have had parcels be trapped in there for a week or two for no apparent reason or that Australia Post could explain. That distribution depot is only 40 minutes drive away from me. Even just the other week when I had a model car arrive, the delivery driver walked down to my front door with the parcel in hand only then to tell me that he wouldn't be able to give me the parcel as there was no bar code or it wouldn't scan. So somehow it managed to get 99.9% of it journey all the way from Poland, through all the other processes then on to his truck for him to have it in his hands less than a meter away from me to tell me that. I was not impressed and got on the phone to Aus Post immediately to demand he hand it over. I was even about to run up to the road and lock our gate so he wouldn't be able to escape till he gave me my parcel! After about 10 minutes of arguing the postal system procedures he gave in and gave me my parcel. I still gave Aus Post customer service a major mouthful in order to express my disgust. Even other postal contractors not directly employed by Aus Post have told me how bad they and the system are. Not a reassuring thing to hear when they have your valuables in their hands..

those paint issues are rather scary! gonna have to take it slow and easy peeling that crap off when I get it!

Does the postal service even work on a weekend in Japan? Even if they mark it as sent and Monday in JP is a holiday that basically means its not going to move till Tuesday yes?

hehe! we shall see! But the overall excitement for the Draken has dropped off for me a little bit.. though I am looking forward to having it in hand that's for sure.

yeah you don't want to go through the hassle of having your account suspended etc.. Im not sure how many other stores still have them available but I do know NY does..

From what I have seen in the past I don't think so. Im pretty sure your account will get suspended. Maybe someone else can confirm this for you?

EMS was 3380 which is a little less than I was expecting.

I wonder if they will ship stuff out over the weekend? But if they ship it Monday I should see it by Thursday or Friday at the latest. EMS is usually pretty good for me.

yeah Top Gear is dead eh! I stopped watching it years ago. The new show just doesn't work and the new hosts seem to try to hard and get no where. Though Chris Harris is a cool dude and I've watched so many (if not all) of his reviews n stuff. I did watch the first few eps of The Grand Tour but couldn't get into that either.

I guess I didn't mind the original but I haven't watched it for a good 25 years! might have to re-watch it.. not sure how well a sequel would work. Geez can't they just come up with more original content rather than making crappy sequels or reboots!?

gahhh! I totally forgot how good this looks! I need this in my life. At least before I die I must have a huge scale perfect transformation VF-1 with amazing detail! surely that isn't too much to ask! please please please please please.....
