    That's looking great @Urashiman Love the pilot ! OK guys, so I've been mulling this over and over for a few months. And doing drawings and interweb sleuthing for references...but I'm still undecided ! I've been trying to design a Megaroad hangar and even for the SDF-1 there are few line art drawings depicting enough information to piece together the (mostly) full picture. At least for me. As a side note, I'm leaning hard towards DYRL style. so , without getting too technical , detailed and lost down the rabbit hole, i quickly sketched my main two ideas for you folks to consider. If you can interpret my chicken scratch, hats off. This is bearing in mind real world aircraft carrier stuff, but most importantly, Macross world stuff. So here's the first sketch idea. #1 is a side view, wherein the main hangar(s) has an elevator going up to the main launch bay(s) . The VF would be rotated 180 degrees on the elevator platform, for proper orientation.There the launch arm grabs the VF and deploys it. There are two "blast doors" involved , for redundant security. The drawing depicts multi levels. #2 is a top view. Which shows the difference in design more easily. From the main hangar , a VF passes through a single "blast door" into the launch bay, where it is then lifted and deployed by the launch arm. There is no elevator involved in this design. A VF could potentially enter from either side of the launch bay. I have all kinds of reasons for choosing either. So any input would be most welcome! And there's always the possibility of combining features from both designs. Of course. I will probably ask this in another, more technical based thread, but i want to ask you folks first because you are the ones who actually do the work of building . And I always go to the builders first. Cheers.

    This is truth ! I only weather props a bit more to give it the just been through some sh*t look. But when it comes to keeping and storing real life weapons, you always keep them honed and beautiful. @MechTech your work is coming along nicely! Always a pleasure to see what you're up to! @derex3592 and @pengbuzz you both are so good at what you do. Thank you for voicing your downs and not just your victories! It helps to remind myself that i need to keep going when everything goes south. And that this is part of the process to becoming a better modeler.

    I didn't realize that. Although maybe that's splitting hairs. The VF-0 was also being used as a main fighter, was it not? Not just a trainer. Wow. I need to reset my Macross calendar of events..

    So here's a question that just came to mind. While drooling over Tenjin's box art for the VF-0B , I noticed a few things i had not really paid attention to before. Firstly the "Space Proving Wing" on the side thrusters/legs. Does that indicate this is a proof of concept model ? Or prototype? Secondly, the gun pod says UN Spacy. I missed that part before, I guess. I don't remember UNSpacy being formed already, at that point of the story. I assumed that came later after the SDF-1 crashed in the South Pacific. I'm sure If i go back and watch Zero, I'll probably see UN Spacy stenciled everywhere. Lol.

    Awesome job @wm cheng ! Maybe a very light weathering on the pulse rifle? A weapon that's seen combat will have a few scuffs. But it does look pretty good in that picture reference, without much wear. BTW , thanks for the support and encouragement

    Putting the YF-29 and the YF-30 in the same category as the VF-31AX is ridiculous And If every time the 31 gets tweeked , they're calling that a new generation, i think that's a bit of a stretch. Also the yF-30 (and pretty much the YF-29) are more like experimental aircraft. Wouldn't a 6th gen VF have to be a production model, in order to actually be considered 6th gen? lol. Agreed!

    As far as The Witcher, they figure since Batman has been played by many actors, they can do the same with this character. I'm not sure it's gonna work for this series .. I'll certainly be checking out the WH40K content. Especially with Cavill onboard.

    Yes, i have the the VF-25 Master File as well. And , being aware of the coverage on the YF-24 in that publication, i am hoping for more info. And , as i said, definitely not holding my breath. A master File covering either the VF-27 or YF-29 would be awesome. And most definitely be more appropriate to cover more info on the VF-24. We've seen info on the YF-24. Now how about the VF-24 !

    Sad news, gonna miss Cavill. DC has been such a mess, it's no wonder they're scrambling everything up. I still prefer his Superman to Affleck's Batman.
