  1. I just realized, I can't recall any VF's using countermeasures like flares or chaff or decoys , to confuse incoming missiles..I'm sure this has been discussed before. But it seems to be an inexpensive way (possibly) to avoid missiles.
  2. Lol. You may be right. At this point, in what we've been shown, it's certainly of No importance to the writers. I can't imagine ,now, where they're going with the rest of that story line.. I think it best that they drop that thread and pursue a new story within the Macross universe. There's plenty of avenues to explore, without going down that dead end alley and finding nothing but a dumpster fire .
  3. Wow, awesome storage, work bench space @nightmareB4macross !
  4. I would hope so. What a can of worms..
  5. We are certainly led to believe , in that silhouette, it's two specific lady's. And yes, where is the rest of the Megaroad fleet??
  6. Thanks for the info. Ya, that'll my gear
  7. Takes up less space too ! The HMR line is pretty sweet.
  8. Looking awesome.
  9. The Alto , Maruyama, and Luca 171's all seemed to have been fixed of those issues. Oh yes ! I want one! But it's probably not Coming until it's featured in the next game , OVA, or Series.. even a cameo would be justification!
  10. Don't want to stray too far off the thread here, but this is a GOOD question.. IMO, without too much wind(no pun intended ), NO. Plenty of reasons why.
  11. Mmnot sure if you're actually in the minority. As critical as many are, most are still going to get one. And as much as i obviously love my Yamato's, i still have my Bandai VF-19 Isamu Advance. I have zero complaints about it. I think THIS particular design really emphasizes Bandai's current priorities and limitations.
  12. Ya, but zero contrast there Let's hope they're trying to be different than YamyCadia. Like with certain other Valks..
  13. I'm assuming Bandai designed it to stand apart from the Yammy. No borrowing ideas. I still prefer the look of the Yammy, personally. So Bandai reinvented the wheel..🤷 I will say, personally, that I really love Kawamori's design. He made some interesting choices. It still stands apart from most of the others, (like the SV-262 does) and holds up well as a future looking VF. Yes, there is a lot of anime magic going on with this design, hence the difficulty in translating into the real world for all 3 modes. For those that are excited about this (supposed) release, I don't mean to be a Debbie downer. I'm sure you will be stoked when it's in your hands. Having said all that, I can't imagine this toy being too much of a shelf warmer.
  14. Maybe there's a difference from the previous prototype , I can't really tell. Sure is still a busy tampo job. As much as this may have some better engineering and thicker legs than the Yammy. Can't say it looks right to me, overall.
  15. That battroid would look awesome armored. Or with supers.
  16. It's canon..🤷 Did you catch that scene in The Mandalorian when the speeder bike guys are practice shooting? Terrible and ineffective (most of the time) Storm troopers are built into the physics of SW..
  17. Pretty cool anime battroid. I like the scaled figure as well. I'm assuming it comes with the battroid..?
  18. Your efforts are very much appreciated
  19. Yes, a great finale to the season. Many loose ends secured nicely. Great writing. I hope season 2 can keep it up. By far the best SW series.
