That's looking good. mine was so warped everywhere , i've had to dip almost every part in hot water. And even though there's a little gap between your upper and lower passenger compartment, they come together and align pretty good. Mine needs a ton of work on that seem. With the wall thickness inconsistencies and misalignments, this is a time consuming project, so i really appreciate what you've done with yours. Keep it up @Urashiman I'm sure you'll correct this, you've got the skills ! I'm cheering for ya. And that F-14 proves it !

Looks really good. I'm still on the fence about these new hands. I guess they're a compromise between the balloons and the mechanical.

Short answer, yes it's worth it. IMO. It's certainly not a carbon copy of the Hasegawa. While I personally have a plethora of Hasegawa VF-1's , i think these looks really good. And it's important to support quality Deculture. Having said that, I prefer the Battroid.

Went ahead and pre ordered the battroid version. Don't really care about the fighter mode, unless they release a super strike set that looks better than the Hasegawa or Bandai version (doubtful). Long wait for the battroid, but i like the proportioned anime look a lot.
