No3ljm I can relate. Gave up on Shirow San a long time ago, even though Appleseed was a major factor in my manga , Anime craze (aside from Macross / gundam) Appleseed was pretty epic for its time.. Macross is pretty much all I read/watch now & my boy is finally getting old enough to watch with me& play with his first 1/65 VF-17 haha Hkj just shipped no6 ..so I'm stoked!

I love this thread. I get to learn much more about both of these great fighters. I've always loved both the yf-19 & yf-21 from M+ My lasting, personal favorite is the -19. I won't bother trying to justify it with a technical explanation. You all have done that plenty on both sides of the fence! I will say the -21/22 is an amazing fighter & I love the Q-rau look in battroid mode. And I would love to see more of these fighters in action!

Lol!! Ya it all comes to personal preference. Having said that, based on the solid appreciation of the Arcadia, I would certainly love to have one.

Ignorance is bliss I only have the Advanced. (Which I love!) So I have no idea how awesome & better the Arcadia may be ( anyone wanna sell me one ? Hehe) My Yammy YF & VF are sweet , I imagine the Arcadia is an improvement over the Yammy version. So bloody expensive tho..

This kit looks simple enough ,with good detail, to make most beginners feel confident. Me thinks ..

Haha! Ya that stair truck is way cool. It's obviously for the shuttle, so wouldn't it terminate too high for anything else? The passenger entrance to the shuttle sits a bit higher than a VF cockpit..

I only have the Bandai version & the Yammy YF-19. The Arcadia is certainly available but the cost is prohibitive for me ,believe it or not. I would love to have all those hard point options. But the Bandai advanced really grabbed me. And the Arcadia (while better than the Yammy) just seemed like a slightly better upgrade for way more money than the Yamato YF-19. Nevertheless, as a collector , and someone who loves the Yf/VF design, I want the Arcadia version!
