Wow.. awesome! Takes me back to my childhood. I have noticed Japan’s love for the Ultraman style over the years. I’m glad it’s endured. There’s always been some version of him in Hobby Japan..

Super Macross Mecha Fun Time Discussion Thread!
Bolt replied to Valkyrie Driver's topic in Movies and TV Series
So what’s the actual range or constant service distance of a newer generation Vak, such as the VF-25? Atmosphere would be different than vaccume, I assume. How long before it’s “out of fuel “ ? It would seem the endurance and needs of the pilot would dictate that more so.. I also imagine there may be slight differences in certain variations or blocks and especially with super paks and Tornado armor, etc. in the mix.. -
Haha! well said! I often wonder what will become of my collection . I will have to one day educate my son on exactly what’s in papa’s shed. But out of selfishness, I’ve already got him hooked on Macross , ha! we seem to always get a revised or premium version of VF’s . I’m excited about the new releases but half of them are newer and not necessarily always better versions of some of the Yammies. Still love my yammy VF-4! In particular, I love my Yammy Nora and Ivanov. Having been familiar with Yamamoto VF’s by the time the SV’s came out , I have swooshed and displayed them without any issues. I also don’t really transform them a whole lot. But that’s just me, I don’t transform most of my VF’s a lot. Nevertheless, I’m always curious to see what the new differences and details will be with the latest versions ..

Ami ami has worked well for me in the past , was good prices too. HLJ I use every so often , theyre not the cheapest out there . They seem to keep good track of your orders tho and never had a shipping issue either. Im REALLY liking where they are going with their current releases now..

I’m quite surprised to see so many complaints/ issues about this Latest YF. I would have thought Bandai had it figured out by now. I wonder if the local market in Japan is having less broken head lasers as they aren’t taking the trip overseas..
-
The old Yammy YF-21 IS a floppy mess. I had mine in batroid mode standing on display for quite sometime. Poses were very limited though. I’ve never transformed my VF-22 Sturmvogel And it sits nice and tight in fighter mode.

What?!? You gotta be kidding me. That city looks so intact. It’s been how long since space war I, and it’s that close to the Macross, yet abandoned? And ,seemingly, completely intact.. Wow..

Isamu and Guild did shred some of the city while they were dueling.. I assumed everyone was @ the concert. And (hopefully ) they didn’t kill any civilians. It was a holiday. And Earth defense thought they were impenetrable. And at the end of the day, the events of M+ certainly changed the direction of the next gen fighter and advanced weapons protocols.. Basara is supposedly a bad a$$ pilot , so the custom vf-19 is his forte , I guess.

I’m expecting her to be a late bloomer. And sometime in the future she will have her own unit to command and will have matured into her bad ass’ness..

Absolutely. Although I already have an Advanced 19. Im planning on the YF, of course . . so the answer would be BOTH! I think 19’s are my most collected vak aside from the VF-1’s. Counting models.

I slogged thru those novels back in the day. Needed massive decompression afterwards. Even back then I wrote them off , as much as I really liked the idea of what they represented.
