    Very cool! I’m hoping the launch arm and Zentradi hull stands are going to be our reality this year. It looks to be alive and thriving. I wouldn’t be surprised to see another release come out of nowhere.

    Well this should be interesting.. will Translucia Baboon (aka Alan Moore) be part of this.? If this is after the original story.. The original story ended quite definitively ,I’m not sure where they’re going with this now. Ozymandias pretty much achieved his goal, Roarschach got vaporized, Dr Manhattan probably left Earth for good and the Comedian won’t be in it...wah!

    Awesome! I love this particular aircraft. I’ve seen it described as an unmanned fighter/bomber. I’m aware of the six onboard 55mm(?) machine guns and the two on board missile bays. But is there any info regarding its ability to perform as a bomber. Does it even have the capacity? Is Macross Chronicle not a reliable source?

    Coming to the well for knowledge once again.. I’ve been trying to read up on the QF-300E Ghost, as it’s one of my latest resin model projects. I don’t have anything I can easily translate, so I’ve been reading the Macross wiki.. Apparently it was developed into the X-9 Ghost? And it’s space maneuvering characteristics helped in the development of the VF-X? It’s semi autonomous AI and remote controlled, I believe.. Maiden flight 2003. First engagement 2009 (booby trap). Are there any other noteworthy instances of combat duty before or after 2009?

    Washed and test fitting. Everything is well fitted, and looks clean , so far..

    That’s redonkulous.. Its way beyond stylistic differences! Who’s version is true 1/72? I can’t imagine Hasegawa has had it wrong all this time, but The Retppu looks better..

    I’m not high jacking this thread! I blame Seto for being a conversational Hydra!( right down to the part where you cut one head off and another grows back) In popular culture “Cyber” is there. Professionally, I would expect you to cringe , and yes it is dated. But it’s still there! We’re way past the days of reading MONDO 2000, I know . You’re using real industry terms (probably) .But Terms like cyberwarfare( comrade, DARPA wants to talk to you!) , cyberspace, cyber cafe, cyberpunk(yeah!) hell,even Cybertron are still all over pop culture. I’m no expert on the subject, but I’ve been down with it for decades, like you, and even if it makes me laugh and think of hacking Nintendo power gloves , it’s still there..it’s ingrained. Now back to our regular scheduled discussion.. here’s one. When is the last time Kawamori San was asked about this? And did his eyes just glaze over?

    Yes, one would think so. And yet.. keeping a copy for oneself would still be a show off bragging follow up, wouldn’t it? More likely it’s been sold to someone and closed up shop. Or it’s still sitting there on the work bench and life happened.. Or maybe we’ll all get a pleasant surprise one day.. Either way, I really appreciate people’s efforts to do this kind of stuff, like you @Xigfrid and @Jasonc and @captain americaand others out there. I know it can be difficult to finish these projects all the way through. The more the merrier!

    As it’s been said before, I’m sure this new version will be an improvement, though I’m happy with my Yammy and won’t replace her. I can’t honestly imagine it not being better , especially at this price..it just can’t be.. Also, as @jenius said a while back, Arcadia appears to be more of a hobby for them , rather than a business that desperately needs to meet its bottom line quarterly. I haven’t been paying a ton of attention to their release schedule , but it seeems like they’re average releases per year are “somewhat” consistent . Theyre just not the overtechnology machine Bandai is. And they’re obviously not trying to be.
