Ah so..I recall it in DYRL , just wasn’t clear how the 1/60 toys it differed from it..

It’s funny about the VE. According to the guys from podcast whom attended wonderfest .. There wasn’t much about it that looked PF. Except maybe the markings were tampo’d on instead of apply your own stickers. They didn’t seem too impressed with it. Now the VF-0D was another story. I heard the word gorgeous used .. “And to be honest, the toy incarnation of the Elintseeker is still different on how it was shown in DYRL.  “ Do tell..!

With the exception of a few DX’s and some HMR’s , I’m all about 1/72 these days. So the more the merrier!

Preparing for some eye candy..

The Gundam snap fit models spoil any would be modeler. I’ve done my share of 1/144’s and my kid I play with them all day. But I built my first Revell Robotec models in the 80’s and ever since , enjoyed model building. As Macross is by far my favorite anime mecha , I really embrace the glue! unfortunetly, Macross is way more limited.(than Gundam) But @Sandman if you love that VF-11B, work your way up!

Doing water is very difficult. But doesn’t necessarily require only clear . Especially for the surface. Clear for underwater ! keep up the good work AD!

Haha. Nice! Magenta..? Acknowledging the Gundam (ish) look but still very much obviously Macross. Ya , perhaps a light gray would have looked better than pure white. Still, this invites a custom color scheme. Low viz anyone? Fighter mode looks killer to me. But yes, it looks heavy. Of course we won’t really know how unwieldy until people start reviewing it. The price is what it is, these toys are only going to be more expensive, me thinks. The engineering does seem to be getting much better.. I will also enjoy the 1/72 Bandai 3 mode version with this armor type( I hope they do it !) as well. Custom, custom! It’s not for everyone ( don’t care for Hayate’s VF, myself) and there’s obviously plenty of other cool things coming out this year!
