I played battle tech in the 80’s. I’m quite familiar with the Macross rip off designs. It’s an original Macross design.

Geez. How about both?! They’re both beautiful! Ok, ok. If you’re friend isn’t a huge Isamu fan (like I am) , the Perceval is a sleeker scheme, IMO. That would be the one. I believe they’re fundamentally the same mold and gimmicks . Check out any moon.com for a good review and comparison ( I always do if I’m looking at buying something Macross,that’s been around for a while). I don’t know if one is harder to find or more expensive than the other as I bought both of mine years ago. But that might be a determining factor for your friend. Cheers

Entertaining take on things for sure. Palpatine being a force ghost or part of some previous backstory ( before he was f**king vaporized) would be acceptable, but to bring him back, like he never died..? would be lame 0’ Also, I think it more likely he would appear as a force ghost to Rey. He just loved to manipulate would be Jedi..

Rey not having built her own lightsaber only underscores the theme of no originality and clinging to the past, Literally. I’ve been a hard core fan since day one and they will get my ticket money , but that’s how I feel.
