It's interesting to note, the original idea for Macross WAS just bipedal fighter jets- Gerwalk only. Toy sponsors wanted robots to sell (they knew they could sell those..). Hence the Batroid. And those toy makers were right! -

Due to the success of The Mandalorian, they're gonna have to be careful to keep these other shows fresh and original. Too similar and people are gonna tune out.

This is what Luke should have done in TLJ Notice Rey's outfit is very ROTJ. Also Kylo Ren's helmet would have been a Mandalorian design made of Beskar.. This one ..been there done that!

Cool concept art i agree a pole arm saber better suits Rey. Would have been interesting to include Coruscant in the mix and go in a different direction. But ya, execution is the trick..

Honestly this is hard to believe. I haven't bought any of the Bandai 1/48's , happy with my Yamato's. So I don't know first hand, but the DX looks really nice and Bandai knows how to engineer toys..

I figured , as more and more info about this begins to trickle in (and eventually flood), we might as well keep it separate from that LAST trilogy. Phew! I've seen a few articles and links from fellow MW's , this might be a good place for them to congregate.. First off, i hear Kathleen Kennedy is not on the forefront of these projects. "So long and thanks for all the fish..!" Secondly, the rumor is either KOTOR era or High Republic era. I'm sure there will be confirmation forthcoming in the not too distant future ( gotta keep those fans hyped!). Some speculation about post episode IX stories have fluttered around, but i think disney wants to point SW in the opposite direction and hit the FTL button. More likely comic book territory. Obviously there is much opportunity for mouse house to interweave old and new . And since we've already seen new force powers and concepts, expect more! Oh ya, and supposedly ole George Lucas himself is going to be a consultant on these projects... All the 31's seem to have a pronounced seem at that spot. But that looks down right gappation..Hopefully you can massage that tighter.

Wonder if we'll be getting a new game sometime, I haven't been paying attention to that front.. True enough. The speaker pod cast had a discussion on "what is anime" sometime ago. I found myself mostly agreeing on most points. But the lines are beginning to blur. It looks like a Korean animation company and western writers are heading this up..and they made it a point to label it anime..

Interesting. Presumably we will get this before season 2. Looking forward to it. So now it's "anime" if it comes out of Korea..
