Shin's OD gets pretty weathered from some hard salt air/water combat training. And even engages submerged with it. That's all after this shot from @David Hingtgen example. Yes, low viz!

I like it. Looks great. Should call it anniversary scheme.

It does make sense that a Destroid would have thicker armor and (hopefully) anti missile systems. But not to the point that it's as hard to kill as you say. I'm glad you mentioned agility as , obviously, a VF should be way harder to hit than a destroid. Ridiculous!

Ya, umm.. they also teased a Tomahawk..

To buy a Robotech rpg as a substitute for a proper art book or encyclopedia is absurd. Granted rpg's usually come with cool artwork and plenty of mecha stats. I never , ever considered any of it to hold water. A poor substitute indeed. To be fair, as long as the art is good and the stats make sense and the game system flows well. It can certainly be worth playing...

What Current Anime Are You Watching Version v4.0
Bolt replied to wolfx's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Haven't taken the time to watch much anime lately. But i have sat down with my son a few times to watch Dragon Prince with him. I must say I've enjoyed what I've seen. I won't defend weather or not it's "anime" but it really tries and does hit the tropes . Season 3 wrapped it up pretty good, no major surprises. They could let it rest or milk another one. I will conclude by saying i approve. -
It looks that way . While it may seem frustrating to some. I think it's a good thing.

Hmm. Ok, the second trailer tells me they've skipped the second book (Broken Angels) and went straight to the third (Woken Furies) he's on Harlan's world. Sigh.. they're still making it about his quest to find Quelcrist. And they brought back Poe (aka The Raven hotel). Now I understand the need for continuity in a series ( especially when the main character keeps changing faces) . And each book could just about be read on their own, so.. i see why they're doing this. But as a big fan of the books , this is annoying. As you read each novel , it's obvious Tak has done MANY things and been all over the place. Three more novels could have been written between the original three. I liked that each novel was a noteworthy chapter, a slice of life, in his travels. It really gave gravity to the displacement of where and when are we now? Grumble, grumble, ramble.. And they're really giving away a lot here by showing us Takeshi double sleeved (again). I'm still gonna watch it ( can't wait) and I'll probably still enjoy it. I'm at least hoping they've cherry picked some content from the second book here. (His military sleeve/body w magnetic plates in his palms being one of those cherries..). I'm still not sure who the bad guy lady is yet.. and they haven't even touched on the big stuff yet.. Counting down the days..

You know, the VF-0D was never my favorite. But this looks so good, i would own it for the finish alone Nice pic @Lolicon

I'm a little surprised some tricky person hasn't managed to snag a bunch of replacement legs and profited off this yet.

Wing Woman looks awesome.

Looks pretty good. Bear in mind you're looking at an unbalanced, overexposed picture.

No way this thread is going dormant. RT is too much of a whipping boy to leave alone

The general public has been spoon fed the MCU and eaten it up. Probably 1% read the comics . That number would be even less for an RT movie. Which, by the looks of things, will never happen . I think Bandai is quite comfortable stringing us along. Honestly, Arcadia seem more like fans and even though I'm not really into 1/60 anymore, If i was, they would be getting my money. Aside from some QC issues (who hasn't had any?) i think they make beautiful Valks. On a side note, did anyone think Bandai was ever going to make a 1/48?

From what i heard. HG and Tatsunoko have signed an agreement to renew. Let that sink in. They haven't actually renewed the agreement. Presumably they will when the current license expires. The clock is still ticking..

As someone who says Macross is in his heart.. wouldn't it be great if he did a Big West ,Hollywood Macross movie.? In your face HG Avoiding the "Robotech " issues and doing a Kawamori treatment of something very Macross but not necessarily SDFM.. Just wondering out loud.. Didn't know he was a big RT fan. But I guess that makes sense, considering his other interests. Though i doubt he could lever the backing to touch it.
