No problem! I haven't had a real chance to look at the valk yet so it'll have to be tomorrow earliest. Haha I have swooshed it around a bit and it seems sturdy. Hey thanks. As above I've not had a chance to discover the transformation mechanism yet. I flicked through the instruction manual, and there are a lot of nuances to it. I'll find a chance tomorrow if possible but the entire unit seems quite solid for the time being. I took it out briefly to answer the question about the metal arms connecting the wings but that's it.One thing I did notice was on either side, behind the main neck and above the two intakes, the two pieces don't sit perfectly tight with the main body. In the instruction manual it tells you to push them in from either side but it didn't make much difference. In the hacchaka review it seems to appear there as well.

There's a screw right at the bottom of the wing where the metal joint is. Will probably just be able to screw it tighter.

I tried it quickly but its friction based. I thought there were grooves on the metal arm for a reason but apparently not. The left metal arm is slightly looser than the right too.

Yeah I hope everyone gets a copy and soon cos this is Bandai bringing their A-game. The whole unit makes me warm and fuzzy inside knowing that they have finally pushed the envelope in terms of fracks-given. Gone are the v1 25 days. As a collector it's nice to find a company is doing it for more than just their bottom line. I'm sure there are many Macross fans within the valk departments and it shows through their products. In the long run it might be a floppy mess but out of the box you definitely see the love.

Looks like it'll be a floppy mess as even the 25s suffered in time. Not as bad as my v1 27 but I think it'll be hard for this to stay together. Nice decals though n can't wait to get this in hand.

Hey man! Yeah it's a slight markup but the guy I know gives really good deals. Another shop gets them pretty much the same price as in Japan as its a Japanese company in Hk. Just another option if members here are having trouble!
