Shame they didn't show anything other than the super parts at the exhibition. Maybe they are stretching it so the next releases are sometime in the summer months?

I was very disappointed in the disjointed mess that was Delta. It's definitely dented enthusiasm for the designs for me and it's a good thing cos it means I'm not nearly as invested, so missing a valk or two won't really be as disappointing as missing a VF-25G renewal (remember those?) or an Ozma. Besides that, there were enjoyable parts to Delta, Mirage being one. I'm definitely in for a Mirage though!

It's a shot in the dark. The way they have done things up until now has been shaky even when it comes to other lines. The metal build seven sword comes to mind. Everyone and their grandma wants one but they refuse to release a second run. In the end it looks like it's a crapshoot and depends on whether they want to do it. The GFF Unicorn Awakening version should have come with 3 shields, but no they released a special in anime colouring with the glow effect from the end of the OVA and the three shields. Right now it's sitting on shelves. Doesn't look fab if you don't want the glow, but a must if you want to recreate the tri-shield moment. Of course I understand it's a money thing but some of these are silly decisions. Having said that, it's been getting really good to be a Macross fan since their renewals, so I'm not whining in that regard. Then again this is the company that gave us exploding VF-171s...

Jvmacross...treatment...let's get back on topic about the actual toys! I mean look on the bright side, this is Bandai giving a damn and making lots of new goodies! Having read about one of our members having passed away and his family doing a sale for his collection, makes me think we really gotta see the positive side to things. The fact that we can keep on collecting and enjoying these things is a blessing. Just want to keep the positive vibes going please don't shoot me

Only one hobby mag now: Hobby Japan. Sure there's Figure King but it's not set up to do Gundam and Macross every month. Dengeki went to online only a while back.

Tamashii nations show is on end of this month so I assume there will be a new reveal, probably Arad but I'm hoping for Mirage.

The TomyTech one is out, but don't expect it in any other form for a while. Not at least until mid to end of next year. They still need to push out the remainder of the main, character-piloted Valks.

Okay I got this off a retailer who deals with Japan directly. He says that the website not only doesn't care about the amount of stock available for preorder, but uses it as it drives web traffic and interest through the roof. He says it's a technique most places use to drum up business. Mind, having said that, I personally see no reason it will increase sales of other products. He just says it's the method for getting everyone to go to their site, which, as we've seen here, seems to work.
