iMacross4 UPDATES: Apr.05/07 1. Macross Miscellaneous video a. Macross 20th anniversary avi Currently, I am attempting to use my laptop for the imacross4 azureus bittorrent server software while the files remain on my networked computer desktop: Windows ME on desktop with imacross files on desktop problem and lack of external usb/firewire plug ins on laptop. Macross miscellaneous and miscellaneous macross video are currently seeding. I will fiddle around with the settings to see if I can get the macross files to upload more kb/s. I am depending on previous downloaders to stay online with their completed macross files to boost download speeds. Next year (March/April), I am thinking of upgrading to a new desktop with Windows vista, so that the imacross4 server and the all the imacross files can be on one stable computer with a large internal hard drive. *****I am on a strict bandwidth limit for this month with Shaw Cable, so if I go over I will either be disconected for a week or I will be charged $106 US for my monthly bill. My usual monthly isp bil is $49 US. So, don't ask too much of me for the next 2 -4 weeks. I am switching back to MTS on Dec. 23 (hopefully) because of MTS has no bandwidth restriction and TV is included for $35 US. That's all for now!

Does this mean we can expect Wave to bring out more macross toys based on their macross model line? Such wave macross models that could be produced are the VF-19, vf-11, vf-17, Fz-109F ? Does anybody know when or where this SDF-1 will be available for sale? Looks really good to me!

Hello: iMacross 4 online. Azureus bittorrent client software only. Bandwidth restrictions by Shaw Cable. Whoever has downloaded a partial or full copy of any of the macross bittorrents that I have created and hosted on the Azureues bittorrent client/server software, please stay online with Azureus bittorrent client as long as possible. I have had to decrease my upload speed to comply with Shaw Cable's bandwidth limitations. The more people online sharing these macross bittorrents, the better the download speeds. **************************** Today, I just received a phone call from Shaw Cable, my isp, about bandwidth usage. I have to reduce the upload bandwidth just so I do not get banned for 2 weeks. You can start downloading any time and all you have to do is wait a month or so for the download to complete. For the next 2-3 days, I will be checking on the Shaw website to see how much I can play around with the bandwidth limitations (3 gb per day = upload + download = approx. 30 kb/s continuous). boinger

A good dubbing to DYRL sounds great to me! Would you be able to splice and dub the 2 psx dyrl game videos to the dyrl movie as well? Then all that could be added to the DYRL movie is those subtitles that one of the Macrossworld guys did and 2012 properly subtitled for a super fine deluxe DYRL movie edition.

Hello: Now seeding: Macross 7 series including ova s , movies, a few extras 12.35 gb, so this could take a month. Macross : DYRL has beed seeded, so that just leaves Macross 7 series. Macross Zero and Macross 7 series can be also downloaded with these macross bittorrents. So, basically that's all the Macross stuff I have. I was thinking once all the macross stuff is seeded that if someone else would like to download, then they could make a request on this discussion thread and anybody who has a copy of the requested file could also use Azureus software and the macross bittorrent to share macross stuff. Note: If you have already downloaded a portion of the macross stuff, then try to stay online. I seeded 100% for the other macross bittorrents. There is likely one other person who has a full copy, but more likely that there is a bunch of people who have a partial copy, which adds up to a full copy. I can start uploading macross music and macross miscellaneous video (mecha graffitti, 20th anniversary, etc.), but whoever has a copy of 1. and 2. would, now have to switch their Azureus option settings to enable the azureus trackerless server and stay online to allow other mw downloaders to complete the azureus bittorrent files. With the Azureus software, anybody who has a copy of the completed download from me would now be able to act as an iMacross server. *********** To enable the built in AZUREUS tracker for sharing your azureus-made bittorrents, you have to enable the azureus built in Distributed tracker/server settings. 1. tools/options/connection - all boxes checked 2. tools/options/plugins/distributed db - all boxes checked, ip and port number open 3. tools/options/plugins/distributed tracker - all boxes checked 4. tools/options/tracker/server - all boxes checked except for 2 passwords and non-blocking option. iMacross 7 has lots of macross music and much more Here's iMacross 7 macross music folder ********************************** Currently, macross miscellaneous : 100 % uploaded macross games : 100 % uploaded Now the trick with bittorrents is that the more people who have a full copy of the bittorrent file and make it available for download, the faster the download speeds for anybody else trying to download. So, if I stay online for uploading to others, then anybody else who also has a copy will hopefully stay online as well. Then after about 2 months, downloading would be quite a lot faster.

I found www.portforward.com was really helpful. The windows xp firewall has to have the same open port as on the azureus software.

The macross bittorrents I made with Azureus can only be hosted or accessed by the Azureus software because that's the type of bittorrent files they are. Otherwise, I have to find a bittorrent server somewhere, then I would have to register with the bittorrent website and potentially be involved with a fbi/mpaa crackdown on copyrighted bittorrent websites, even though none of the files I put into bittorrents are copyrighted in the Americas. So, as soon as some one else has downloaded all of the macross files from me, then someone else can find a better solution for bittorrent file sharing. Otherwise, it's just a matter of waiting for the download to complete. boinger

Future upgrades would be: 1. linksys mimo router 2. a new desktop computer with win xp/vista, so the iMacross server would be as stable as my laptop computer maybe in 8-10 months, lots of bills to pay just yet.

iMacross 4 azureus bittorrent server offline The bittorrent sever was working fine, until my dlink router locked up. So, after I reset the router, the desktop (win 98) computer got confused and locked up. Laptop (winxp pro) computer is fine. I manually restarted desktop and then all sorts of files and software went missing on the desktop computer. I'm using the start up diskette to scan disk the desktop c: drive to get everything back to working order. I'll post again when I'm back online. Next computer ugrade, I'll buy a linksys router. ************************** UPDATE: Still offline and having to reinstall windows again! abit be6 motherboard 1. defective 5th pci slot 2. 1st ata66 slot misreports master dvd-r as slave not only did win98 2nd get confused about missing files, but registry became corrupted. I'm in the middle of reinstalling windows me. iMacross Azureus server online Shaw put me back online. I am seeding Macross miscellaneous and Macross games. Upload speeds are about 1-4 kb/s because of Shaw's bandwidth caps. Roughly 1-2 months to download Macross games and macross miscellaneous. Then for the next 2 months, I will seed Macross music and Extraneous Macross video (mecha graffitti, 20th anniversary, etc). I'm looking at adsl isp within Winnipeg. Changing isp s takes a bit of research because the bandwidth cap is usually in small print tucked somewhere on the website.

Shaw cable disconnected me from the internet 3 hours ago. I have Netscape 56k connection right now.
