What you want is called "Bleemcast Beta" VF-X2 is the only macross game that works well with it. Unfortunately you cannot save your games on it but, VF-X2 does look better on the Dreamcast than on the PS1. You can find it by going on google and typing in "bleemcast.zip" If anyone ever needs video game info for Macross games let me know! BTW: I am currently enjoying Scrambled Valkyrie on my PSP!

I posted this topic a few months back too. I bought a modchip and went through hell trying to get it working. Recently I discovered that certain folks had created some software exploits which, when executed allow one to hijack the boot sequence of the PS2. I just finished playing as a matter of fact. you can get the ps1 game "DYRL" and inside is a disc with the demo for patlabor and vfx2... i know it ain't the american version but, it does feature the radar...

Okay, I bought a modchip. To answer the Jolly man's question: I paid ~30$ for the used PS2 that is to be modded- I priced JP PS2s... um ya. Yes, I guess I do play some other games on it so, really I suppose it's not the only reason I bought it, but just the biggest reason that I'd ever want one. Yeah that was some alright information but, I already know most of that info. I am looking for specific information like: If someone who has the same PS2 version as myself what method are they using? The one reply that mentioned their modchip model was pretty decent but did he mention which version PS2 he bought? I'll have to go back and look. I was too busy thinking that I couldn't believe he hadn't seen that I had listed mine... What I am trying to avoid is the compatibility issues with some mods for example: I have read that HDloader does not work with this game... Who is a trustworthy retailer? Where was yours purchased from? Thanks!

How about these observations... The traitor with the scar across his nose from VF-X2 is spotted working with Nora and the anti-UN soldiers. Could Basara be the son of Shin and Sarah inherriting the song energy. Ray from Firebomber a Mayan? Mao did say in episode 1 that most of the people had moved to the city or joined the military.
