hm.. gonna try and download the demo or something if its out. If it doesn't work, I will get it for Xbox, but UGH, FPS on Xbox aint the same as being poo scared in the dark on the PC with MOUSE/KEYBOUND interaction yeh! I remember watching a mate playing Aliens on PC with surround sound, having an alien jump out of nowhere and him almost hitting the roof from his chair he jumped so high! damn funny stuff...hehe I love being scared in games or movies, lets u know ur alive! Im looking forward to this, but really dont know if my XP2600 and nvidiaFX5200 128MB will go well. Fingers crossed

Problem i think with plating is the extra 'size' you are packing onto a small part. If you keep plating things on something especially that transforms, it may prove to be more a hindrance? impare the transform?scrape lots of paint/plastic.? just thought i would say, not trying to rain on any parade sounds cool, might have to do some extra sanding or filing though..

mate, its not meant to fall off, its not exactly the tightest joint on my 48s, it should stay mostly closed at least which barrell rolling.. maybe someone here can suggest a way to tighten it up or fix it. I hadn't done anything for one so cant say what works...

and models dont like being played 'strafe the baddies' at a zillions miles an hour, to quickly transformed in a heavy handed manner to go in 'hand to hand' style... least not without snapping some important parts first.....

thanks...for a novice, i think i did a good job painting the kit..as for weathering, i haven't done any weathering yet so any tip is welcome... pfff.. novice indeed. guess theres two things you can do. one easy, the other, a pain in the arse Clear coat then do an oil wash, using cotton tip cleaners to clean up after it has dried a little in the crevices. Thats the easy one.. oooorrr do panel lining with a darker shade, like i did on mine. It has the potential to totally stuff up a beauty paint job though, so dont do it cuz i said so, do it cuz u want to, *so you cant blame me heheheh* basically make a slightly darker shade, then lightly 'trace' with airbrush? the lines, only faintly, and build up. that way a mistake doesn't stand out as much heh ( then you can do the oil wash afterwards ) It looks great as it is though, so its totally your decision on keeping it crisp, or making it 'lived in'. I keep pushing myself to do scary things cuz William has too high a standard to try living up to, so every bit makes you a better modeller. The vf2ss im hackign up at the moment to make it transform properly has me sweating, but in the end im sure it'll work out =) gotta try things hey! PM if you want me to tell more on oil or anything, more likely to see it there than a reply. =)

this is just some shots to show the legs proportion to this new apparatus. I need to consider what the best way of support will be. i already have some ideas but im a 'hands on' person, so will have to fiddle to figure it out proper like
-
Thanks for the support, i think im gonna need it I wish the joins were spotless, I ended up thinking of a better way to do the main swing bar so have replaced to two seperate pieces for each leg with a centrel section with individual arms to each leg. Gone are my dodgy pieces of wire*which were hacking into the plastic, i just didnt have any screws small nuff* and in are pieces of 3 mm round plastic. I still am experimenting so it hasn't been tidied, only made functional. heres som more pix anyway, hopefully you can see it better this time round and those legs are from my previous vf2ss i had built. I needed something to test on the model to make sure it was proportioned correctly =) I wish i could cast/recast, would save a lot of hassles, but i dont think im good nuff for that quite yet LOL enjoy..
