I have the first one as well, and cant get the shoulder pads to stay on, or more importantly, the wheels, but if the white one is fixed, thats great, cuz had it on pre order at HLJ! cool stuff to look at though, if for no other reason than it reminds me of Mospeada Mecha.

Who does she love? Her work collegues or you? Compromise, sure, but what shes asking aint compromise, its dictatorship. She needs to REALLY think bout making you give up something you OBVIOUSLY have a passion for. You will regret getting rid of your collection Im sure, and that will mean you may end up resenting her for making you get rid of it. Thats how this sort of thing normally goes. Wonder if she ever thought of that ? Good luck. You might need it.

Videos: Japanese Sword vs 9mm then .50cal
Sam replied to Warmaker's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
That was awesome indeed. couldnt help but think while watching it though of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and the face off against the Scymitar?(sp) weilding badguy, that he just goes and shoots... Couldn't pay me nuff to hold a sword while trying to prove that particular point of ' I can slice bullets' -
heh, my recasts would resemble LEGO more than my model mate I wish I could do it well, but alas, its not a talent i have learned

i was actually working on that ages ago but the project got 'lost' admist my Marvel legends customs. Had pics showing the improvised swingbar that folds onto itself using styrene sheets, so there was no need to remove parts, but its quite difficult in that scale to get it strong. Old thread can be found HERE

I think you will find the dremel even at its lowest setting will tear it apart. You are really best not using one for such small precise work small hand drill/pin vise is definately your safest option mate

Airport attendant: ' sorry sir, that has to go in the cargo hold, its too big to carry on" Fusion ' like Hell, YOU go sit in the cargo hold, Im not letting these babies outta my SIGHT" heh j/k. Nice haul, I would love to have the GGG, and the R.M Starscreamer, but nowhere seems to have a decent price .. -

hmm, quite a co incidence this thread, cuz im just getting back into my combiner love ! lol! I reckon GaoGaiGar and the Genesic version RULE at moment, but always had a thing for Dairugger/vehicle voltron, always trying to make it from lego because I couldn't get the real thing! Now I have the Bootleg version, which is a nice start ! But for some strange reason, I really like this $5 cheapy combiner I have no idea its name or anything, found it at Crzy prices or something, and its three little planes that transform into a robot, crazy cool stuff! anyone know what it is? Also Choryujin from GaoGaiGar I found as a bootleg at the same place! but I gave them away DOH!!

For some reason that statement gave me flashbacks of Evangelion's commitee choosing the 'next' child pilot 'The eleventh child will be Windcharger' 'Windcharger? but how will shinji handle it, knowing his relationship with his toys...' 'He is going to have to. Otherwise, he is of no further use to me...' -

As opposed to all that non-gratuitous, intellectual and meaningful T&A. LOL

I cant decide at the moment what I will do. I really want a Beta, and like with the SOTA toys Street fighter series, I have convinced myself the only way I am going to get most of my favourite characters is if I buy ALL the characters when they come out. My initial reaction to the alpha of "damn, why is it so damn breakable and cheap" is now replaced with, " well, it does look pretty good, and it does transform fairly well...shucks i cant hate you, lets play" Guess if price does come down *$150AUD is a bit much to justify* I will keep going with the series. But they had better do something bout the quality of material TOYNAMI, please stop wasting money on the box! Put it towards the quality of plastics and toy! my 2 cents

Walmart.com had Silverstreak up online but within hours they were sold out. Here in Australia I walked into Kmart and after being annoyed that I missed the 20% SALE, i was happy nuff that there was 1 silverstreak for me to pickup! yeh! I reckon his head sculpt is much nicer than smokescreen, and the colour rocks! -
Did something actually break, or did the cover just fall off? If it can be reattached, by just slotting it back into place, that doesn't count as a breakage. Graham its more like the poor fit and crap glue, so if i shave a bit off maybe and reglue it might be ok

Add to that list Forearm hinge that covers missiles fallen off, leaving exposed measles, oops, i mean missiles I think i will have a long distance relationship with my alpha. The further away I am, the better it looks hehe. Its not all that bad, just as others have said, better materials would have helped lots, stead of a pretty box, give me better quality plastics IMO. My only real issues is it has crap plastic, which contributes to things falling apart. Its a great weight, and reasonable design to look at, so it does have somethings going for it.. Mine seems to have a lot of dirty plastic too for some reason, like sticky tape was taken off and dirty fingers handled it. Maybe its just me. I do like that they tried to make a cool underated toy though. I bought this so i didn't have to play with my model version. Might have ot play with my model though *****EDIT****** Add to the list as of two seconds ago, little hinge on bottom of hand that holds fingers to palm broken off as well... I think i better put this in a pose and leave him on the shelf... now where did I put that new Binaltech Tracks thats sturdy nuff to play with???

Man, I feel totally the opposite, I love this guy! Hes got incrediable poseability in arms and legs, has missiles attached, a car mode which looks awesome parked beside Deadend, Im thinking hes one of my favs so far! I got both the Alpha/Legioss and Tracks on the same day, and after being a little dissapointed with my legioss from its plastics quality ( forearm missile cover broken already, because i opened it, shame on me), Tracks made my day for being so nice Totally looking forward to the upcoming Grimlock and Honda. Wish I knew how the prototypes get into the hands of ppl though... does someone pince them when the managers not looking or do they toes them aside every so often? -
I chuckle cuz its true. so many times I hvae been in a hurry toggling the torch that I toggle back onto the torch instead of the gun, and start flailing around with the butt of it!! its amazing how little damage it does to the bad guys, specially while they are meatballing ur face with claws... trying to buy a 6800GT card, damn well none in australia till the 15 of this month to buy. all sold out. Guess how much it costs. even for a cheap brand ? $709AUD, or $799AUD mostly. Thats the standard GT, the ultra is $975+ mostly.. hurry up 15th August!

i wish that was an australian site, that is VERY cheap it seems. alas, it no international sell I did the timedemo with this system, highest it did for specs it recommended was 9fps!!! thats just plain wrong, i didn't know the fx5200 was so crap, specially considering it was a 128mb card. Im wondering if maybe my cpu is too crappy as well, but i would have thought an xp2600 was decent nuff personally.. this is why pc games sh*t me to tears..
