$33 for SAL!?!? Damn that is too much! I mself have shopped at HLJ several times a year for years but have never bought 1/48 Valk from them before. I usually get mine from Neova. Shipping for a 1/48 from him in HK ranges from $20-$30 AIR MAIL. How can $30 be the cost of SAL from Japan? WOW, that is a lot to pay and still have to wait 6 weeks.

Yuck!! At Wondercon in San Francisco last month they were giving out free posters to this movie. It was a LARGE sized, color glossy poster and it looked sweet! It made me REALLY want to see this movie. This movie sucked! Only the poster looks good! Damn!

Amazon doesn't sell them because they are not licenced in the U.S. Do what the Duke said, download the fansubs online for free. If not, shoot me a PM. I can give you the complete set of Macross Zero on DVD with perfect subs (fansubs) for $5 shipped.

You said it man! I love those tracks! For anyone who doesn't have "Macross: The Complete", you HAVE to get it. It is well worth the money. Contains the soundtracks with vocals & BGM's to both the SDF Macross TV series & DYRL?. Great stuff!

With all the current Valks I've seen in the last few years, why don't i see any Kakizaki's released? Have they ever released a Kakizaki Valk? I have only seen custom ones made. Why is that?

I told myself (and my wife) years ago that i would ONLY collect the 1/55 line. Then about a year and a half ago someone here on the boards sold me a 1/48 at a good price. I thought at that price, i can at least get "1" right? Update: I now own 7 1/48's, with armor sets for each one. Bottom line, I love em. My wife however is pissed off.

Go with your gut..... Yamato 1/48 VF-1S Roy Focker with Strike Cannon/armor. If i could only have "1", this would be it. I do think the TV Super Max looks pretty sweet too. But Roy is "da man!" and skull leader is "da valk!"

Yamato's Macross toys have always been expensive because they don't make large quantities at a time. With all the releases at one time, i would be hoping for prices to come down a bit. Wishful thinking i guess. I'll have to pass this time around, i have to draw the line somewhere. Too many things at once, Yamato lower prices please!
