  2. Make a favor yourself, use acrylics.
  3. Ok, ok, we know that you are all tough macho men.
  4. Good job, any armo-diver pics?
  5. Good job, what program do you use? Wish the fatso yammie 1/72 will look so in fighter mode
  6. Look more a Max vf-19A... hmmmm S.H.E.
  7. As far I get, this is the finished model and it isn't articulated, I don't see any joint systems at least. Surely it can be improved, The arms and shoulder lights are wrong, it lacks closed intake covers, is poorly assembled and it isn't even painted. I wonder why the head looks so oversized Last thing, the heatshield assembly is wrong, having a longer cockpit the vf-0 double seaters have a heatshield extender.
  8. It's robotech In Macross its the ASS-1 crash that leads to the war.

    Bandai VF-17

The 1/100 bandai vf-19 models are very good in battroid mode but they suck as trasforming models because 1- massive part swapping 2- orrible fighter and gerwalk mode 3- IMO Is very easy to break.
  10. This is the actual pic ripped from the Vfx-2 CD

  13. What macross is that? Some old videogame I guess.
  14. Here the next hase model.
  15. now that you mention it, it does look like a mass production eva... just out of curiosity Ido, where does your avatar come from? I've seen it all over the place and can't for the life of me find which anime people seem to love so much... It's not from an anime, it's from a playstation videogame called Xenogears, the character's name is "Id". www.xgam.org
  16. Uhm... variable evangelion?
  17. Definitely a cannon fodder.
  18. Thanks Neova, I'll order what I need from HLJ within the week, The gunpod is inteded to never split again, I opened it just for simplify the modification and the painting, there is no complicate mechanism in the gunpod so I suppose I don't have to dissamble it in the future for fixing. Indeed the 1/48 Gu-11 is a piece of art, but i'm pissed by the rings system and how is crappy glued togheter, I'll post pics of the finished work.
  19. Definetly I had to use gun strap as search word and not gunpod The idea isn't bad, If what I have in mind don't work i'll go for that way. What tipe of glues are fine for the gunpod strap and the gunpod body? It was (badly) glued togheter with some super glue, but I wonder if plastic cement will work on it, I plan to do a seamless painted GU-11.
  20. Someone has ever modified the gunpod strap to have a different way to attach the gun? The rings thing sucks so I'm thinking about replace the thing with tiny policaps. Suggestion? I already completely disassembled the gunpod. ps I used the searching function but i didn't find nothing.

    My last models

As I tought that Minmay is awesome Did you modified the Minmay kit or is built straight out of the box? And the kits(all) are hand painted or airbrush painted?
  22. I'm not an expert but I think it could be the thinner you used for the oil wash. what you used? Acrylic coat is used cause the thinner used usually with oil paints will not arm acrylic colors.
  23. Really similar to the VF-4 I wonder if it was the source for the vf-4 design.
  24. I love the sv-51, it's look so different from the VFs and have a great hi-tech look, the battroid looks awesome Imo, I love slender and cool looking mechs, it looks good in every mode anyway. It seems unusal things don't get too love. The Nora and D.D. paint schemes are very interesting too. PS Graham, who built that hase model used a very nice purple.
