  1. That's a great looking airwing you've built there Noyhauser! Lots of great detail for 1/72 scale and the finishes are fantastic! You did an especially great job on the bare-metal jobs. My hats off to you for those! I'd love to hear some tips about the methods and materials you use for them if you find the time. If you don't mind, could you tell me what kits you used for the Sabres? They look fantastic and I just love the lines of that plane! Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing them with us!
  2. OK, I voted 1/1000. I have the Oberth and would love to have them in the same scale. I know I suggested 1/1400 earlier in the thread, but I guess bigger is better. It doesn't matter too much though, because I've been wanting a nice size ARMD kit for a long time and I'm sure I'll pick up whatever you produce.
  3. Although bigger is usually better, I vote for 1/1400 too. Seems there's more stuff to compare with in-scale. This will be an awesome project!
  4. I do think that the cockpit/front fuselage area could be more streamlined, but this is still a sweet looking kit. I agree on the old grey/white combo schemes. They look great on almost any airplane!
  5. Fighter mode is my favorite for this bird. Looks like you did a great job on it!
  6. Everything about this is just stunning! It is truly an awesome piece of creativity, engineering and skill. A masterwork that I am soooo disappointed I couldn't fit the finances around. It is fun and exciting just to watch this come together. I'll be living vicariously through the lucky members here who are able to purchase the kit. I salute you Captain!!! Keep the pics coming!!!
  7. I like that parts breakdown. This stuff is looking very cool!!! Thanks for sticking with it Yeti!
  8. I like a lot! It's looking great! Can't wait to see the final finish.
  9. Cockpit and pilots look great! Love the detailing. Fantastic work on the Minmay decal image too! Very talented. Keep up the great work!
  10. Oh yeah, there's definitely plenty of anime magic going on there with that little jeep! I completely understand your reasoning. Like I said, that was just my $.02 worth of impressions from the pics you posted. The new pics you've got definitely look better. It may be the translucent material of the masters that is causing the impression for me as well. These are all looking great and I'm just spouting off hoping to give constructive ideas that may help you. I appreciate that you are receptive to our ideas and I do trust your production/creative skills. I'll certainly be looking forward to more pics and to when these are ready for our consumption! Keep up the great work! I'll be watching and waiting!
  11. Oooooh Boy! Looking fantastic!
  12. Hey! Stuff is looking good! The scale seems right and from what I can see the details look very nice too. I assume they both will come with steering wheels as well? I gotta say though that the wheels and tanks(balls behind the front seats) on the XM3002 look too small to me in both scales. I know there may be some anime magic to deal with when translating the drawings, but if you could get those beefed up just a little I think they would really stand out and look perfect. The tanks seem only slightly undersized and may just be the way they look in the photos. But the wheels especially look like they are a little lost under the chassis and are not giving enough lift to it. They just don't look like they are made for rough terrain as I picture this vehicle being used for. Just my two cents and friendly observation of course! All in all these are looking great! I'll be glad to pick up a set when you get them into production. Keep up the great work!
  13. Love the "manned missiles!" They both look great, especially the red. But to me the 104 is truly glorious in the polished natural metal. An amazing performance machine. You've got some great detail on those little kits. Good work!
  14. Looks very cool! I would certainly be interested in a kit.
  15. Wooooooh Man! That is looking awesome!
  16. Your work continues to amaze! You have definitely reached the level of Master Macross Modeler! It's a pleasure to watch your process and to see your finished works of art. Thanks for taking us all along on the ride with you!
  17. Hey, have a great time on the trip! Sounds like it will be a wonderful opportunity to spend some relaxing and enjoyable time as a family. I'm sure you can all use it. Take care and enjoy the trip. We'll still be here when you get back.
  18. That baby is amazing! Your work really is top notch. Thanks for sharing your tips, you've got some great ideas there. Now, post some more pics! I cant' wait to see the finished product.
  19. I don't think there has been any statement one way or the other from Hasegawa. Doesn't mean that it won't happen, but nobody has said that they will do it yet either.
  20. Future is now sold as *Pledge "with Future shine"* It should be in hardware stores, but also definitely in stores like Wal-Mart, Target and some grocery stores too. It'll be in the aisle with the floor care stuff. You know, mops, brooms, etc. It's great stuff and easy to use. I can't believe no one's put up the Swanny's models link about Future. Use it, love it, live it...Future
  21. I like the look of that color scheme! It gives it a nice amount of color and interest without being overwhelming. Looks like you're on the right track with this build. Keep up the great work! I'll be waiting for more.
  22. Those are looking smooth! Keep up the great work.
  23. Ugh! $35 for a small 1/72 scale kit! I'll probably have to wait if I see it on a good sale. Hasegawa, Trumpeter, Tamiya and some others' prices seem to be through the roof. Sometimes I just can't bring myself to pay the prices for the new kits that are coming out. Especially with Revell re-releasing so many decent kits at quite reasonable prices. I know they are older and not state-of-the-art but they are usually just fine for me. Then again, if it's something I really want, I'll go ahead and splurge!
  24. Those look pretty darn good! I love those old kits. They manage to keep some nice proportions throughout the three modes IMHO. Possibly still the best model kit for Gerwalk mode. It's a bear trying to match the tan color of the VF-1A though isn't it! Looks like you did a nice job on them. Keep it up!
