  2. so whens all the bitchin and moaning going to begin? i assume it came out today so where are the pics from you macross fiends out there? and a review!
  3. nice dude! one of my favorite UCS SW lego sets. so much so i have two.
  4. i have no idea what milled parts with powder coating is so i guess that would be better how am i wrong? my arse posted.....
  5. well being that its a huge part you have to move in order to transform it, i can only imagine that there would be some signs of wear after a bunch of transformations...really its not that big of deal dudes. i mean, would you rather have it be plastic so it breaks but doesn't scratch? or metal so that its strong and deal with the paint chips? i'd rather deal with the paint chips than a broken valk any day.
  6. second that! Every die-cast metal part of my 1/48 has chipped paint Hope i'll be able to repaint and customize it soon. Hope to see a decent yf-19 FP from Yamato in 2005. paint chips? on a 1/48? where? the screws? the pins? the only other metal part is the swing bar thingamagig and theres no way in hell that part isn't going to show some signs of wear. added: oh, the front landing gear doors are metal too.
  7. alrighty, its official then, we should come up with our own 12 days of macrossworld song.
  8. 7 RMS missiles falling.....
  9. while a 1/60 monster would be the shiznit, how much would it suck if it broke on its way from HK? for retailers and buyers? you'd have to pack it up in a GIANT arse box or something and insure it for like $500. and even if it got to the states safely, what if it broke on its way from VE(just as an example) or something. granted Kevins a great guy when it comes to things like that but how much would it suck if you opened the box and something was broken? would it be worth shipping it back to VE? and would it be worth VE carrying the toy with the fear that something might be wrong or something break if its not packed in a bullet proof box and heavily insured? if i were a retailer, this would be the last toy i want to sell. i'd leave it up to the HK dudes and let this one pass. so thanks, but no thanks, i'll stick with the koeing and be happy.
  10. you wish. whats your problem? why you posted pics of my woman? j/k
  11. i got to play the ESPN football game and now i know why all you guys are hating in EA....ESPN seems to be alot better overall. EA is still fun...
  12. thanks for da link homie! that guys got some good ass MOC's in his gallery and he did a really good job(outside of lack of color) on the koeing. and that patlabor is off the hizzle-my-nizzle...i mean a retracting holster for the gun is too cool and its totally freakin poseable.
  13. how long have we been waiting for the 19? not that yamatos a "wish fulfillment center"(one of my favorites quotes) so i'll believe it when i see it....and i mean when i really see it, like in a box, at comic con or something of those lines. otherwise it nothing pipe dreams.
  14. nice find man. awesome pics...did you see the size comparison shot between the koeing in battroid standing next to the 1/48 hikkie? i thought it would be big but that suckers HUGE!

    BP8's

the flexi version is a really close match and pretty durable overall the super stiff version doesn't really match color-wise but is super-duper-strong. get one of each and you can't go wrong.
  16. just got the good word i got some lego for christmas on the way. i guess i was good this year.
  17. i wouldn't be a bit surprised if it was a $1000 or more...probably more.
  18. only problem with that is, you pay $80 for a toy that sucks, then you end up paying another $10 to ship it back so they can send you another lemon. you ship it back again and again and again....all of the sudden you end up paying $120 for what should've been $80.
  19. my friend just bought this so we're planning on watching all 3 extended versions back to back to back. i think i'd gonna need a pecan....gotta watch blue collar TV to get that one.
  20. wooohooo! that means i'll have my koeing just before or or at the beginning of the new year. i'm just hoping Neova's boss doesn't send him on another marathon business trip.
