  1. seems a bit OT for me. i always wanted a plain black t-shirt with an embroidered macross kite on the sleeve or something simple like that. i'm not a big fan of large silk screens on t-shirts.
  2. could be true?, we'll have to wait and see but i doubt its going to top ESB even though thats what the people are saying.
  3. aww schucks. loose joints? but thats what clear nailpolish is for.
  4. after a long search, heres what i was talking about.
  5. you can always use the leftover outline of the blue arrow FP sticker. i have posted somewhere but i can't remember? i did that for a couple of my valks so i wouldn't have to paint them.
  6. you see, what if you cough up the dough to get one of these and it breaks a few years down the road? then your SOFL cause by then, the warranty will probably be expired, then they'll charge you an arm and a leg to fix it plus the cost of shipping it back and forth. i say get $100 vacuum, and if anything goes wrong, you can toss it and buy another $100 vacuum.
  7. actually the banprestos are bigger than 1/144, and smaller than 1/100. i have the doyusha 1/144 valks and they are way small in comparison to the banprestos in fighter mode. i'd say their about 1/122.5843 scale.
  8. another super badbump! whatever happen to this? any updates? i'm still very interested.
  9. what this? you're missing the 1/100 scale detroid conversion kit!
  10. my valks will never be for sale! as far as the what i sold the 1S hikkie for, i didn't sell it complete, i parted it out so that other people could fix their valks. same goes for the 3rd issue roy. i figured i could sell it, then one person would have a valk, or i could part it out and 7-8 people could fix their valks, i chose the latter being the hippie i've become lately.
  11. actually, i got rid of my alot of my non-yamato stuff and actually some yamato stuff... you yourself bought the DYRL stand from me, i sold 2, 1/60 GBP armors, i got rid of 2 or 3 sets of clear FP covers, all my 1/55's, a gakken cyclone, the 19A, a 1/48 third issue roy, a 1/48 1S hikaru, a 1/60 1S hikaru and other numerous things. as i said, the numbers don't reflect it but thats quite a bit of stuff i sold off. not to mention all the other stuff i sold off to fund my vegas trip before that. BTW, why are you keeping tabs on what i've bought and sold?
  12. Was this the same one that was later posted? That one seems to be 20.1MB. If there is more out there, or a higher quality version, I'd like to see it. Carl Yeah, what seven minute trailer? the one thats linked on the 2nd page of this thread.
  13. i think the white stickers are just extras. the yamato sticker sheet is chock full of pointless stickers that has no real place to go. just use the red kite stickers for the sides.
  14. neatly to the side? but its an eye sore. if you couldn't see it, it would be fine otherwise you have this rubber strap thingy hanging from underneath the valk. then again, i don't have this problem cause i have multiple gunpods for fighter modes and battroid modes. and don't get fresh, i know what you sicko's are thinking.
  15. why does the sun come up? does god really exist? i dunno, thats how yamato first designed them. the legs have pegs, the nose cone has a removable "plug". you remove the plug and insert the pegs inot the nose cone when in battroid mode. if you're debating which one to get, get the 1/48 cause they're becoming scarce and the prices have only been going up. 1/60's have been out longer butmost people sold them off to buy 1/48's....i do not fall into this catagory cause i have them all.
  16. i thought about picking one of these up but they don't want to share any info. sorry but if i'm forking over $500 for anything, i want to know everything about it.
  17. the 1/60's have detachable legs, you have to put the antenna in when in gerwalk(plus the gerwalk sucks), you have to take the heatshield/canopy on and off each time you TF them. with the 1/48's, you don't have to do any of the above other than it has the gunpod strap which you have to take on and off.
  18. come here my younglings, you want to touch my lightsaber? if you touch it it will grow...yes you can feel it can't you, now you see why they call me the big green monster in the locker room.
  19. well my collecton has been trimmed down some though the numbers don't reflect it, i got rid of a lot of stuff. 1/48 = 13 1 - 1S hikkie w/swapable 1A head 1 - 1S max w/swapable 1A head 1 - 1S kakazaki w/swapable 1A head 3 - low vis w/swapable 1A/J/S heads 2 - 1S roy 3 - 1J super hikkie 2 - 1J M&M's 1/60 = 19 1 - 1S roy 1 - 1J super hikkie 1 - 1J super max 1 - 1J super millia 1 - 1S roy strike 1 - 1J GBP 1 - 1A max 1 - 1A hikkie 1 - 1A kakazaki 1 - 1A CF 1 - 1A CF TRU 1 - 1S max strike 1 - 1S hikkie strike 1 - 1S kakazaki strike 1 - 1S max reg 1 - VE 1 - VT 1 - Q-Rau millia 1 - Q-Rau max 1 - GBP armor only 1/72 = 0 the mac+ valks suck in everyway IMO 1/100 = 1 1 - konig
  20. nope, they're all set on an angle for no good reason. the nose is just upwards, i tried everything to get the nose to stay down a bit but it calls for a complete redesign of the chest/nose/leg/hip assemblies.
  21. vader and anakin are technically the same person but it was written(or atleast conveyed) in a way that they were 2 seperate people, an alter-ego if you will.
  22. when you build something for the first time it takes longer than the 2nd time, 3rd time, etc. look how fast the Empire State Building was built...it took less than 2 years and that was back in the day! i remember the first house(land actually) my parents bought, it took those guys over 2 years to build a 2-story house.
