TOTAL 1/72 = 4 TOTAL 1/60 = 8 TOTAL 1/100=6" you know whats funny, i think everyone on this site said something along those lines atleast once, i know i did. i was all like, "why the heck would i need the same valk with a different paint scheme when they cost $130+?"....and now i got 13.

i'm going next wednesday, around 12:00 in the afternoon when kids are in school and the adults are at work. this way theres no lines, i get good seats, and i don't have to listen to someone ahole wooing every time something cool happens.

ahhh, another intelligent member on these boards. back on topic of SW collecting.... while legos are kind of expensive, they don't put out as much "crap" as hasbro. the line is relatively small in comparison to the other companies that have a SW license so its not that hard to collect them. i think theres been a total of 140+ sets including mini's, technic, systems, UCS, promo's and other nonsense like keychains and pens. they didn't release a lot of stuff considering they got the license in 1999 and they only have the til 2007. the only other SW stuff i'd like to collect is those damn lightsabers but they're way expensive and they're all pretty much the same outside of dooku and darth maul(the only one i really want). or possibly the action fleet stuff since its small. i don't think i'd ever start collecting hasbro, even as a kid i only had the x-wing and the snowspeeder, no actions figures. theres too much crap out there and even more crap that you didn't know about...like the luke with the red and green rasta capin the japanese packaging thats only sold in south africa.

joel(BBTS) is probably the only vendor who crazy enough to stock them. i'd imagine he got quite the deal on them since he usually more expensive than most e-tailers so you figured he paid maybe $20 each for them and toynami was elated to have a return customer.

PS2: i just wait for it to be released as a "greatest hits" for $20 or i trade them in for new games. PC: i borrow most, if not all, of my PC games when my friends are done with them. i don't really play multi-player cause you end up playing forever.

i'll pick up a PS3 when its cheap. the xbox is ghey, i refuse to put more of my money into that nutsacks pockets and nintendo is for the kiddies.

eh, it actually happens a lot. someone rediscovers their love for macross/robotech, they open an ebay acct., catch auction fever, realizes how much he actually spent, then breaks down and start selling everything. its happened to many of members here. either that or he had a extra roy lying around and hes dumping the MPC's cause he realized it was the worst toy purchase ever made.

i had one and sold it. i didn't like the fact that you had to remove the gunpod and that it took up too much space, that and theres no way to adjust the height. if you can get it for $30 or less, pick it up. anymore than that, i'd pick up the a bunch of tripod display stands from VE for the same price.

wise words from a wise man. i know all this hoop-la is exciting but no one knows how "limited" these will be? we still have no "official" number as far as the LV, so they could make 50000 and still call it limited. and as BA mentioned, the LV took quite a while to sell it out. the demand for them got high ONLY after when one MW'er posted that someone paid a pretty penny for them. then it was a feeding frenzy for re-sellers and gougers and desperate morons that didn't know any better.

i like them both, i just don't like how much i paid for them. they're pretty cool for the most part considering theres not much out there to compare them too. they lack playability since they don't TF, you can't get crazed with posing them or the joints will get loose. i don't play play with my toys but the q-rau's don't do much so they just sit on my shelf.

well heres a link to a pic where i have some on risers... click me! you can sort of get an idea why i said it would cost alot to ship. i can sort of "nest" them together but not more than 2. i work in a furniture/home decor store so i have access to free packing materials and such but not an unlimited supply of boxes in various sizes....i do, but i don't. now heres the other problem.... i'm sure people will want particular sizes as far as heights are concerned. if thats the case, it'll be way too much work for me. if i were to get the risers, i'd only be willing to buy 2 different heights only and leave it at that. i barely, if at all, make any profit when i do this kind of stuff for you guys... too much work + no money = hater don't want to do it. now the plus side to doing it this way is, i can get a better idea of what boxes sizes i would need. if i can use free priority mail boxes that would be awesome otherwise, i'll have to find a shipping box supplier and go that route...

off topic... thanks dudes. i wasn't sure about the shade of green so i just matched it with the green skull sticker. its actually a bit darker but the flash brightened it up a bit. back on topic.... i honestly doubt they'll be making a 1S max or another varient we want. its possible but i think they'll follow suit with the 1/60 line if anything. it'll be a damn shame if they do since i had to sacrifice a 1/48 for the head and wing to make the 1S max.

If you mean why is a Max 1S more plausible than a Kakizaki 1S? The answer is simple: Kakizaki never flew a 1S and Max did, albeit briefly. Kakizaki bought the farm in his 1A in both the series and the movie...big lug could never catch a break; hence, no VF-1S for the big guy. jew talkin to me mang....
