the only thing i can say about this is, i hope its not a rip off. the ghost doesn't do much other than sit there, so unless theres some super fresh features i don't know about, this thing better be way below the price of the strike FP kit. don't get me wrong, i think its cool but its not cool enough that i'll lose sleep over it if i don't buy it.

wow, after reading my review, i should add that no one should avoid getting the 4" stands. i know i praised the 2.5" and 6" stands but the 4" stands do serve their purpose and a good inbetween stand as far as weights are concerned. 2.5" is the most sturdy and can hold the most amount of weight. if you got something heavy, this is the one to use. the only problem is, its only 2.5" high off the ground, so its not much of a space saver. 4" is pretty sturdy and can hold a decent amount of weight. this was the original flexi-stand so you know it works. 6" is fairly sturdy and can hold a limited amount of weight. this is great for giving your displays a bit of clearance from the rest of your toys, so its a good space saver to maximize your display shelves. for rod combinations, the skies the limit. go crazy and see what you can come up with.

is that you lord kung fu? haha, j/k sorry i couldn't resist but your statement is so lord kung fu-esque. -
*jaded toynami robo-whore says* if you want to see fast packs, if you want to see more vf-1's, buy the ones that are out now so toynami knows theres an interest. i've have yet to pick up another one of these, actually i haven't played with the 1S hikaru since the first few days of owning it, its inferior! but the custom LV does look nice...

we can all agree that most of here are adults with jobs, families, and an uncontrolable need to relive our youth through toy purchases, but what set it off? what was the first toy purchase(no video games or gadgets)you made as an adult and used the excuse, its for nostalgia sake? me, i bought a LEGO fright nights castle set when i was 21 or 22 on my way home from work one day. from there i moved onto other lego themes and eventually found my way to robotech/macross. so what about you guys? what was your first toy purchase as an adult? what brought you to where you are now?

dude, i'd save up for a 1/48 VF-1S or one of the 1/60 VF-0's. i know it seems very expenisve but its so worth the price. i mean, whats the point of buying an inferior toy when you can save for a awesome one? seriously, its like buying a KIA, when you could get a BMW, theres that much of a difference between the valks.....save your money and get the goods.

look here noob! j/k seriously, theres no way to make a fair comparison between the 1/55 MPC(master piece collection) VF-1J hikaru(rick hunter), to the 1/60 VF-0S. its like comparing roseanne barr to jessica alba....they're not even in the same league. the VF-0S is better in terms of....well everything you can imagine. check this recent thread for more info.... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=20396 or check out the link to anymoon.com in that thread, jenius has reviews and pics for just about everything macross/robotech.

pic request, G1 OP, jetfire, and 1/48

nah, i'm pretty sure he had the plain old regular version we all saw as kids. he actually tried to convince me that the G1 OP was poseable. LOL! i guess you could say poseable if you consider a handful of moving hinges(i can't even call them joints)"poseable". -
can anyone answer this? graham? someone?

which zeta gundam are you talking about exactly? because the Zeta Gundam 2.0 version hands have individual moving fingers and it swivels at the wrist. [attachmentid=37396]

so my friend is convinced that when he was a kid he had a optimus prime toy that was as big, if not bigger than a 1/48. he claims it featured a flip down cab where a plastic figure(thats supposedly came with the toy)could sit inside the drivers seat. i know of no such OP toy which featured a cab that opened, nor a plastic human figure that could sit inside it, nor one as big or even near the size of a 1/48, but he's convinced otherwise. he's also convinced that the jetfire toy he had was way bigger than a 1/48...yeah i know the jetfire is 1/55 scale but he still doesn't believe me. he claims he must've gotten the "other" jetfire toy that was released when in fact, we all know there was only one jetifre toy ever made. so if someone could please help me settle this arguement by posting a group shot of a 1/48, jetfire and the original G1 OP(or whatever the hell version of OP he's tallking about), i'd greatly appreciate it.

why does the VF-0 have 2 FP booster slots(don't know what else to call them) on each side of the backpack? i know upper slots is to lock the legs in fighter mode, but whats the reason behind the lower ones?

looks alright but i'll hold off my purchase until someone actually gets one, builds it, and does a full review. you never know?, it could end up being a total POS, and a $130 POS at that. as far as a large scale SDF-1, while it might be cool to have a 2 foot macross, imagine how pissed you'd be if it arrived broken? i'm sort of against anything thats too big, same reason why i never backed the 1/60 monster. i just can't help to think how much money i'd be out on just the shipping alone if i received a broken one.

just got word the missing pieces are being shipped EMS. i should have them in by tuesday or wednesday. i'd appreciate it if you guys send me a PM with your mailing addresses. i'll hit you back with your totals once i have everything packed and ready to go. thanks again for your patience. roy's blues twoducks Gatillero PR Chindenathus
