imperfections is a visiable seem line, i can deal with that. this is a case of continuing to sell something that is known to break. thats a big difference IMO. would you buy a car if it was known to break down? of course not. but you're willing to buy a toy that does? why? i know my comparison is a bit extreme but its notthing to do with the dollar amount, more so the principle.

as i suggested many posts back, its not the shoulder housing thats off, but the ball joint itself. i don't think the balljoint is a perfect sphere but rather somewhat oval. this would explain why all the shoulder pieces are stressing one after the other. POM, ABS, steel, it wouldn't make a difference what you used if the balljoint itself is not a perfect sphere.

graham and others, sorry that i tend to be blunt and straight forward but i don't like beating around the bush. i've always been an accuse first ask questions later kind of guy so it shouldn't be anything new to anyone here. sometimes i feel i have to be the d!ck because i feel people don't want to or are afraid to speak up because they'll get hated on by the rest of the board. i don't care for all that madness and just call things the way i see it. my opinion was based in the information i was provided and/or not provided, its as simple as that. sorry i can't make a "safe/PC" post, thats just not my style. anyway, eugimon pretty much stated how i feel without my insuations...

the more gimmicks the more issues. i'll be waiting for the 3rd release of this before i even consider buying it.

we asked about these shoulders and it took quite a while to get a response and an incorrect response at that. we asked about why we're being charged for replacement parts that should be free, which he still hasn't gotten back to us about. hes totally 100% down with yamato at this point and as much as he wants to keep things real here, hes not going to give up his relationship with them by telling us the whole truth when they requested him not to. and who can blame him? he gets to see all the new stuff they put out, and he doesn't pay for the productuion samples he receives. so if you see it from that perspective, hes got a lot to lose if he doesn't play it their way, and thats why i feel the way i do. none of this is fact, just my conspiracy theory of why we were kept in the dark for weeks on something we've been wondering about for months, only to find out weeks after the release that the shin/ghost combo is a lemon like the 0S and the previous 0A. not to mention the still unresolved issue of why we're being charged $30+ for 4 tiny pieces of plastic? yeah yeah yeah, they included the entire assembly.....that no one even needs.

not to be a jerk but we've been asking about this for quite some time and i'm wondering why you're getting back to us now....weeks after the shin combo release? weeks after people shelled out $200 for it going on the information you provided.....or didn't provide? sorry but i believe you have your own agenda here that people aren't addressing, you want to stay in yamatos good graces which means you would willingly keep info from us at the request of yamato, information that will hurt yamato future now present sales, then use the explaination above as an excuse for dupping us. sorry man, but your lack of action/response to this leads me to believe otherwise, please tell me i'm wrong.

the replacements are supposedly POM but the ones on the new shin/ghost combo aren't. look at the size of the shipping box. conspiracy theorists say, HLJ, yamato, and the postal service are in cahoots with one another.

so in short, "please buy our inferior $200 product and when it breaks, give HLJ $30 more of your money, thanks for writing".

this is why i suggested they pair up the regult with a destroid. i can't speak for everyone but i think we'd all buy them if they were paired up AND the price is reasonable. i don't see people shelling out $200+ for a tomahawk and a regult but i see people willing to fork over $100 or so for the 2.

i'm on that boat now. i just sold my custom max and kakazaki and looking to get rid of my M&M's and whatever else i can. yamato has left a bad taste in my mouth and i don't feel like supporting them anymore. when my friends came over i'd go on and on about yamato and how their toys rock and tell them to go ahead and play with it. now i have nothing to say other than, "don't touch that, its gonna break, theres something wrong with it already". my friends who did pick up one or 2 yammies now have no interest in picking up the newer releases even though they like the mecha, thats weak.
