yamato is no longer making 1/60 valks. the 1/72 YF-19 has perfect trans. but it looks stupid in both gerwalk and battroid mode. they built the entire design according to what the fighter mode should look like. the bandai's are sort of perfect TF but theres no way to attach the gun without using the clip but thats a minor nitpick. also, all the VF's except for the VF-1J hikaru has a removable heatshield, another nitpick.

Bartagama, i highly doubt this guys model is 1/110. just guestimating the "stud count" and for all the detail he threw in, its gotta be bigger. besides, you should build it bigger...its actually easier to build a lego MOC larger than smaller. the winds blowing stronger now so get brickin! dyowelb, i have no idea but if you ask around lugnet (lego community site) i'm sure someone there will know how to get in touch with him. just an FYI but very few people make instructions for their MOC's, since most guys build using the trial and error technique but you can always scan the pic and throw it into a lego program(MCAD i think?) and it'll give you somewhat of an idea on how to built it. wwwmwww, nah, he built it using an array of sets. most AFOL's(adult fans of lego) have enough loot and go out of there way to get stuff cheap. you can also go to internet lego shops(bricklink.com) and order any and all the parts you would need to build just about anything. i shop there all the time for minifigs and unique pieces that are only available in certain sets. that BSY is out of hand , i would imagine the brick count to be in the 10000's easy....the ISD which is only 3 feet long has 3000+ pieces....and that was LEGO using the "house of plates" technique....this guy built it solid and went brick crazy!

*trying not to laugh* sorry dude. you should've gotten it from soze.

use a thin knife or a jewelers screw drive and pry it up. its doesn't take much force, its all about the leverage.

if you're drawing some dorkie characters, then add some pleats. if drawing real men like myself, then go with jeans. everytime i see someone with pleats, i think of steve irkel(sp?) from family matters. -
LOL....yamato would have to pay me $25 to display this on my shelves. if they make so you have to remove every single screw to transform it, then i'd buy it.
-
looks like you'd be better off getting a kit that actually transforms. either way this is not for me, i'd only pick this up if it were free....then i'd turn around and sell it here. as one mentioned, its a glorified lego set.
-
looks bad ass, it might be the first movie i see starting vin diesel. BTW, the guy is the king of dorkdom.
-
mego made cool batman toys.....i wish i had them now.
-
thats why lego is so fresh, you can make just about anything. BTW, someone was asking about the lego patlabor a while back and i think this is the guy that you need to contact.

Yellow arrow on leg packs would be red color, and sticker vents for the air intakes not applied. I Like yellow colour haha! after reading what i posted, i got it backwards if even that. you guys know what i meant....didn't cha?
-
not to be the anal guy, but technically speaking, the double RMS missiles go on the inside of the wings out on the outside. BTW, nice pics. i should consider stickering/decaling my valks up.....nah.

stoops! not only are they trying to use the macross name, they didn't even bother to make the correct armors for them....check the arm armor....looks like TV armor to me. whatevs the superposeables are the biggest waste of money IMO.

really? then whats up with the 3 pics i've had since they first annonuced the DVD release? -
If you were to do both legs and put the magnet poles all in the same direction I would think they would all be attracted to each other and maybe even help the gunpod stay in place better. i hear ya, but then i have to have 2 magnets inside each FP arm armor. my original thought was to put a total of 6 magnets, 2 in each of the arm armor, and 1 inside the calf of the valk but doing the one was easier for me and probably easier for anyone doing the mod. also, trying to line up all 6 magnets in the correct positions is probably a pain in the butt. besides, the gunpod doesn't fall off that easily on the strike armor....the TV armor on the other hand....
