the strike armor kit is dark blue and comes with the additional piece if you want to switch over from the strike to super. the TV FP is a lighter shade of blue, more like a bluish/grey. its only comes with the 1J hikaru and is a Super only, no strike cannon. the M&M's come with the super armor as well but they have red and blue leg covers and engine covers, the rest of the parts are the same color as the 1J hikaru FP's. anymore questions?

1/48's: 1A max, coverted into a 1S max, i can't stand the 1A head. 1S Roy x 2, DYRL version, TV version, you gotta have both right? 1S hikaru x 2, because i'm on drugs. 1A LV, my very first 1/48, coverted into a 1J 1J hikaru w/FP's 1J hikaru w/o FP's x 2, got the 1st one for for the blue box only and donated the valk to the parts service. then BBTS had another 10% off sale and i had a $10 credit and i couldn't help myself. damn valk-cohol! 1J max w/FPs 1J millia w/FPs DYRL FP kits x 4 TV FP's x 2 clear FP's...i had to get atleast one set. 1/60's: 1A hikaru 1A max 1J hikaru super x 2, wanted extra FP for the 1D. 1J max 1J millia 1S roy 1S roy strike 1D, i love that ugly ass head. 1A CF 1A TRU CF VE VT Q-Rau, millia....maybe a max if i'm drunk enough. GBP armor x 2, one for the left over 1J and 1S. 1/72's: YF-19A, i really want the plain ol' 19 YF-21 FP, cause its bad! though it needs more movie magic. VF-11B FP, bought 1, sold it the next day here, then bought another...i don't like holes. 1/55: bandai 1S super and 1J....for the memories. and other assorted nonsense not worthy of mention. oh and no MPC's.

toys or a down payment on a house....you decide. the q-rau is 1/60 scale but it looks fine displayed next to the 1/48's. acessories, theres only the Fast Pack strike armor kit at the moment, with a whole lot of wishful thinking for the 1/48 GBP armor. the millia was the last valk to come out....like 2 weeks before the max. next in line? thats the question of the month. we're(or atleast i) am hoping for a CF(cannon fooder aka brownie) or the kaz/ben(DYRL valk with green highlights). hope that answers your questions.

Oh yeah update: 1/48 - 34 + 5 FPs (looking to get three more 1/48 and 2 FPs.) 1/60 - 5 1/72 - 1 haha, you think so do you? i'm almost positive theres a lurker on the site thats got everyone beat but they just lurk and don't post. and you're the only one crazy enough to buy all those 1/48's....i mean, what are you planning to do with them? have you calculated how much you've spent on your addiction? if so, does it equal the sticker price of a new car?

damn that looks juicy! i'm not sure how you're trying to construct the legs but i know what you mean by lego loosing its "grip" when theres a lot of pieces involved, i.e. the ISD. you can us different SNOT techniques that might help solve that problem, plus instead of using the clicky hinge pieces, you might want to use a combination of technic pieces especially since your valk is friggin HUGE! the only other thing i could suggest is to scale it down(no reason to your crap looks bad as hell ) or to make it a little lighter. bascially take out some bricks that don't serve a purpose. i assume you took the "trial and error" route building this and in doing so you usually end up brickin it to death for structural integrity. i know that sounds like a pain in the butt but that might be you're only alternative. BTW,you got some instruction for that thing?

yes i have DYRL and i've seen it a bunch of times, inlcluding the scenes w/M&M flying around and fighting together. my real question was, how the heck did max pilot the rau? again, i don't remember him entering any "growth chamber" which was the point i was trying to make. one minute hes piloting a valk, the all of the sudden hes super-sized and piloting a rau? seems like a HUGE hole in the story IMO.

How do you know it isn't because of lack of sales in Japan too? From what I've seen their complaints to Yamato are even more vicious than ours - regarding everything. I'd imagine the Q-Rau is no exception. But the lack of pilot figure is definitely part of it. i don't know, thats why i didn't say japan. either way, i don't even understand why theres a max rau? did max enter the "growth chamber" at any point during the show/movie? i'm pretty sure he didn't, so then how the heck did he pilot the q-rau in the first place? was it even max in the rau? just because it was blue doesn't make it max does it? i gotta a lot question about this one.

i've been wanting to get in this thread for a while.... nice minifigs dude! i have a friend who does torso and head designs on waterslide decal paper for SW figs, LOTR, HP, some WWII stuff and a bunch of different superheros like batman, superman, the flash, etc. very cool, now i must make my own little macross custom figs.

great news if they start selling 1/48's here in the states. bad news is, they're almost at the end of the line. no matter, atleast i can now justify being one of those dudes that got 3 valks, one in each mode.

i've been storing my stuff with little bags of silica(sp?) the stuff that sucks up all the moisture you find inside beef jerky, the stuff that says "do not eat" on it. i hope it works....or atleast helps. so far there is no definite answer on how to prevent yellowing. i've been storing/packing stuff differently to test what works. i got 2 bandais and 2 1/60 yamatos packed away. this is a year long process so check back in about 7-8 months or so, then i'll have some answers for ya.

a rather far feteched request but does anyone have a spare right wing for the low viz? i'll trade you whatever parts i got that you might want, or i'm willing to pay more than $5 for it.

PRICE LIST: heads - $15 heatshield - $10 gunpod - $10 strap - $10 ($5 if you buy it with the gunpod) backpack hinge - $10 everything else is $5 a part no matter how big or small meaning.... if some asks for the cockpit section, its $5. its not like i'm going to start removing glue to seperate pieces. if you asked for a little part of the arm piece, i'd give you the entire arm....i mean, what the heck am i going to do with it??? did you see my pic of the valks parts i have left? most of those parts aren't going to be requested by anyone. i mean, who the heck need the rear chest plate? or a foot? or the inside calf of the leg? the most requested pieces are the head, backpack hinge, hips and heatshield. now think of all the parts that are left, now think of how many no one has any use for. thats why we're charging $5 a part. also what you don't know is, i've given a few parts away for FREE(depending on what the part was) and shipped it at my cost. i mean, i felt stupid asking someone to paypal me a dollar for shipping....its retarded, so i ate the cost to keep things moving and also just to be a nice guy. i specifically asked these people not to say anything on th boards because i know i'd get bombarded with the a bunch of "give me this for free" PM's. well, i guess its gonna happen now. like you said, when you sold your SW stuff it was hell. well me, i sold the display stands at cost to hook members up, now i'm parting out a valk to help people out, on top of juggling my everyday life stuff. don't get me wrong, most of the guys have been really cool about it, but a few have broken the camels back so to speak. how would you feel if you got PM'ed to death with, "wheres my stuff?", "got an update?", "why i gotta pay so much?", "can't you hook me up"? just an update since mcpaz brought back the old thread... 1/72 - 2 1/60 - 12....13 if you included the q-rau 1/48 - 5 2 TV.FPs, 3 reg FPs another update... 1/72 - 3 1/60 - 13...14 with the q-rau 1/48 - 7....all with FPs thought i'd bring this one back since there seems to be another started fro whatever reason. 1/48 is now up to, 10.

i'd imagine it has to do with the lack of sales in the US, becuase most of the overseas retailers are making their money off the US fan base. not too many people here in the states picked it up hence, they had a price drop. well, it seems logicial

PLEASE READ there is NO WHEELIN and DEALIN for your parts requests. simply put, we are doing YOU a favor by parting out our brand new valks to help YOU out. if you think the our price per part(we all have the same prices BTW) is steep, then please go buy another valk for $140+ and fix it your damn self. basically, come correct or don't come at all. i apologize for the tone of my post but i find it exceptionally rude when we're trying to help out and people start asking for discounts.....WTF? this isn't lets make a deal. well i had 1 MPC(i paid $80) and i sold it on ebay a while ago( $120+ shipped) and i almost felt bad selling to the guy. i wanted to tell him about yamato but i didn't want to screw up my money. toynami is inferior compare to most of the other macross/robotech toys out on the market.....its only a step above super-poseables IMO. the box is the only thing that rocks about it. other than that, everything else sucks about it, not because its a suckie toy, but because its a suckie toy that costs $80.....i guess the box is worth $40. either way, i felt like i got robbed when i bought it, and i felt i was doing the robbing when i sold it. if any new member is thinking of picking up one of these i suggest a branpresto...they got tighter joints.
