i don't mind paying for shipping, its no biggie. all i know is hes got 4 days from today to get them to me or i'll have to request a refund through paypal. nothing against shawn but you guys know how i am and i'm not down with anyone whos got my money for a month with nothing to show for it...its just not right.

way off topic... well, i'll be selling off my extra 1/48 1S roy real soon, along with the 1/48 M&M's and a bunch of other stuff i really don't want to sell. i just found out my boy is getting married in vegas so i need some extra cash for the bachelor party...hookers, strippers and midgets oh my! yeah, i don't know about the midget chick but he specifically mentioned he like to have sex with one before he gets married. anyway, vegas is great and all but i know i'm going to have to buy everything back eventually and by then, the prices will have shot up even more? vegas? or macross? i'm thinking vegas.

i'm a doubter. the 1S roy came out how long ago? it was released twice, and probably had the 2nd highest production run next to the 1J hikaru. the 1S hikaru is how popular? they probably made less of these than other valk...possibly the same production numbers as the LV....don't quote me on that.

indeed, some of my not so nice words we're edited it out. maybe theres a younger group of people thats joining the forums and thats why there seems to be more policing. when i first joined here i was kind of psyched cause it was the first place where everyone was chill and no one was bitching and complaining about being PC or crying "what about the kids!" its cool i guess, but it does take the relaxed atomsphere away. eh, theres always IM and PM which is what most people do when they come here anyway.

you only have to remove 1 screw. remove the screw right above the diecast swing bar. its located on the underside of the valk and its the only screw there. thats it.

Talk to Soze's buddy. He hooked me up with one. yup, i got 2 of them suckers from Max(sozes buddy) but hes not selling them any more. he only has 1 or 2 left for himself so he said he was holding off on selling them for a while. if he does put them up for sale, i'd imagine he going to ebay them.

yup same here. i PM'ed him yesterday regarding my order but nadda for now. he said he was going to mail my order out way back on friday 6/25 but i haven't received a thing yet. i'm sure hes really busy but it wouldn't hurt if he took 2 minutes out of his day to post a small/brief update.

sorry dudes. its still up on his website, i guess its time for an update Neova. i picked up 2 of them from him before the roy shortage hit. BBTS had them for $169.99 a little while back. i didn't think anyone would touch them at that price but sure enough, he's sold out, along with toy-wave who had them for a more reasonable price. maybe i should've picked up a few more to flip? good hunting fella's

the head rest is a definite. the crooked skull on the tailfins is a definite. the nose cone syndrome is a definite(nose cone falls off everytime you pick it up). the velcro bit is a bunch of marlarky. i have the original 1st release roy box and it has the velcro. i have the reissue which also has the velcro. i have 2 1S hikarus, one has velcro that other doesn't. i have 3 super vf-1J's, 2 w/velcro, 1 without. Neova is the only one that has the reissue 1S roy. hes overseas so the shipping should be around $20-$25.

well if they were out, a review would be easier. from what i've read, its $40+, you have to glue it together, and paint it yourself. it can hold all the valks(1/60, 1/55, 1/48) as well as other mecha? other than that, theres not too much info on these. might i suggest you purchase a tripod display stand for $11 a piece. check my sig for the link. you can almost get 4 felxidisplays stands for one of the WAY overpriced yamato stands.

I'm still waiting, I think thier is a bucnh that maybe held up (lost for a bit or caught under something) in shipping. Ive gotten packages like that before, sorry to say they were in bad shape. I hope this doesnt hold true for the FP's. i think shawn is just slammed at work....either that or he won the lottery and if thats the case, we're never gonna see him again. well i know he didn't ship out anything lately cause i didn't receive anything yet. maybe hes trying to clear up some of the lost packages mess and is waiting before sendig out another batch of orders? lets be patient, its not like shawn is going to run off with our money.

yes indeed it does, but thats a good thing since you have to cover the entire valk anyway. my hands/fingers were black all over but you can dip your fingers into a cup of water and rub some more...it makes it darker. once its done to your liking, then you can go ahead and apply a clear coat. again, its in pencil, so if you screw up, you can just erase it and start over. i'm not saying paint the whole valk with water colors, just the panel lines. you know, take some black paint, mix it with some water to dilute it, and start brushing away. i'm sure it won't stick to the "surface areas" but i think it'll hold in the panel lines cracks and crevices. when it dries, all you have to do is apply the clear coat and you're good to go! again, i haven't tried it but i'm gonna hit up the art store and pick up a set...water colors are pretty cheap and if it works, i'll have panel lines within seconds as opposed to trying to paint or fill in the panel lines by hand. in any case, this method isn't for everyone but i don't like painting, got no skills, got no airbrush, so this was my alternative.

yeah, i don't know why yamato went with the off white for the 1J? i actually like the bandai 1J in grey compared to the yamato 1J. i guess they could've gone with slightly different shades of whites and greys like they did with the 1/60's but then it would be a pain in the butt to match colors if you broke something.....ah, we can't win, and neither can yamato. either way, if the 1J turns out nice, i do have an extra 1S roy. BTW, anyone think of using water colors to do the panel lines? i think it would be a cinch and take less than 5 minutes to do but i haven't tried it yet.

hey i just figured out your name. i don't think its a big deal cause Amped got a deal in the works during the first couple of hours of posting. all the other crap is just that, crap...it happens in just about every thread. i don't think he's(amped) mad about it...after all, he is getting $360 for a LV w/FPs.

he wasn't really taking care of himself so its no surprise. another great actor lost.
