  1. well this is one i've been waiting for and one i'm definitely going to see on a wednesday....no crowds, everyones at the bars on hump day. i haven't seen much in the ways of spoilers(been avoiding them) but it looks like its going to be one rocking arse movie! aliens...predator...how bad could it be.
  2. way to ruin the party dude. well lets hope you're right about the machine guns.... well if i break down and get more than one(not likely), i can see it being displayed in battroid and gerwalk modes. the shuttle mode is cool i guess but i can't see me leaving it displayed like that for too long. gerwalk it will be. oh and thanks for the helpful info >EXO<, i think the vacuum is standard issue with every new yamato release.
  3. AG, GBP, whatevs, they're both super cool and i have neither.
  4. thats actually a really good question.... is there anything else than what we've seen? any gimmicks? missiles? gunpod? something? anything? don't get me wrong, i think its uber cool, but a little extra something wouldn't hurt.

    2 seater 1/48s

well the 1D shouldn't matter since its relatively the same size as any other non-FP valk. the VE and VT...who knows? but i think they could package them in the 1/60 boxes and still have room left to spare.
  6. same here. i really want to play but not for $60.
  7. ss455@aol.com like he posted in direct response to your previous request in the clear FP thread.
  8. like i said, sorry if its been mentioned before. i don't know of anyone who does a search before they post a topic....its not like i asked a question thats been answered before.
  9. sorry if everyone knows about this but i thought it was cool and worth mentioning. check it out... ROBO
  10. yeah i'm not to sure about the lucite blocks either? just from the rear battroid pic, you can tell the 4 cannons/backpack are way BIG and probably heavy as shiet. when the q-rau was coming out, they propped that up on a lucite block as well....maybe ithe proto is just really loose? hopefully they'll stay away from the ball joints on the feet/toes/whatever. regardless of all that, its still looks pretty damn sweet and i can't wait til this comes out.
  11. Fulcy, i posted this in another section but thought i would be cool if you could incorporate this into your design, its just a small suggestion, hope you don't mind. something just popped into my head that i thought would be a cool feature...the 1/60 GPB just sits there, i mean, its cool but it just sits there. no real features other than a the little flippy pieces but that ain't much. so i was thinking for the GPB in 1/48 scale, yamato(or people making there own) could make the inside section of the armor vinyl. meaning, they insert a piece of vinyl or something where the missiles are displayed and have it so you can individually put in and take out each missile.....does that make sense? like for the shoulder armor, it wouldn't have to be thick piece of vinyl, just enough to hold the mini missiles in place. yamato wouldn't have to recast them since the FP mini-miss would work fine and the guys who are making them, can also do this and add a little bonus feature to their work. i don't know if any of this makes sense but i think it would be neat.
  12. well its sold out just about everywhere and spent the better part of last night trying to download it with no luck....too many mofo's trying to DL as well. oh well, i guess i'll have to wait.
  13. believe you me, the backpack hinge is the most fragile part of the valk. don't get me wrong, its pretty strong, but whats another $5 plus Rohby's shipping them for free. its not that its really that fragile, but the amount of stress in ratio to the amount of material/plastic thats actually holding the backpack isn't favorable, especially when you put the FP's on. i haven't broken mine yet(knock on wood) but i know its going to eventually happen just because most of the guys here are adults and handle their toys with great care and still managed to break it. i'm just saying get it as a backup just in case. p.s. if you got any more questions, just shoot me a PM so we dont' clutter up this section.
  14. Iron Man aka Tony Stark, how do i explain this??? you have to slide it back into/towards the tip of the nose cone. meaning, you push down first, then when it reaches the point where it doesn't go down any further, push it in and down towards the tip of the nose cone. does that make sense? hope so.
  15. i'm sure someone has thought about recast the hip pieces but i don't think it would stand up to too much wear and tear of its made out of resin. maybe styrene but i don't know much about casting so you'd have to ask an expert. and yes, the TV hands have been recasted and should be available. contact Rohby for details. also he recently made a recast of the the BP8 aka backpack hinge for ($5 for a flexible, $7 for super stiff resin). that will probably be the next thing you're gonna break, so i suggest getting a spare or two while you're ordering the hands($10 set of 4).

    2 seater 1/48s

VERY true!!!!!! Thgey should know the whole world hates teh 1/.100 VF-0 so I forsee a financial disaster brewing. Rectified by the sale of 2 seat 1/48s!! I have yet to see that world wide case study you did about the 1/100 Shin. I'm sure they're entertaining the thought of the 2 seaters, yet the sudden halt in the 1/48s has got me worried. i wouldn't say a sudden halt. while its not a 1/48, they did release the 1/60 GBP along with the display stand(what a rip off) and we got the 1/60 max q-rau coming as well as the much anticipated koeing monster and lets not forget everyone favorite, the vf-0. that along with other releases that aren't macross, yamato has a lot on its plate right now, so give them a little breathing room. i have hope they'll come through for us....eventually. also, don't forget they didn't release the M&M's that long ago either....has it even been 6 months? a year?
  17. contact Neova, then check the list to see whos in front of you, that way you dont' have any dirty rats trying to jump ahead of you. i'm telling you now, you got a long wait. i think i total of 3 valks have been donated so far and those parts were one of the first things to go. i have another valk i'm willing to part out but i won't do it until theres enough demand and i get paid first. i parted out my hikaru and lost money on it and i'm not making that mistake twice.

    2 seater 1/48s

LIES! you'll only be able to hold out so long, then the VE and/or VT will to call you.....buy me, buy me, buy me! you'll fight it but theres no resisting, it will start to invade your dreams, then your reality!
  19. the line for that piece is mighty long. check out HLJ.com, they also have a parts service but they're kind of expensive. its either that or wait.
  20. fearyaks is correct blu-tak, fun-tac, its all the same stuff. as far as the opaque canopy issue, get some Future floor polish. yes, floor polish. you'll have to brush it on(both inside and out), since you can't remove the canopy but it makes the windscreen nice and shiney!
  21. another member was nice enough to help me out already and i think fulcy sold his spares to my most favorite person on this site. thanks for thinking of me aajin.

if they build it, i will buy. i can't see the big deal in it but i think it might be due to the lack of sales for the 1/60 VE and VT. i know many of us here have them but perhaps it didn't meet their sales expectations and thats why they don't feel the need to go forward with them. you'd figure most of the molds would be the same but at the same time, they'd have to make new molds for the chest plate, heatshield, the nosecone/canopy as well as individual molds for both FP's, which from their POV, isn't really that cost effective. i guess they could charge an arm and a leg for them(like they did for the 1/60's ver.) but to invest more money into the line and take the risk of having them not sell well, could be a gamble their not willing to take at this point and time. these are only my opinions, so feel free to disagree, just don't argue with me about it, please.
  23. actually, i need a break from the VF's not the VF-1's. you forgot to mention the most desired of all macross toys.... ENEMY MECHA! battle pods and all its varients, maybe make it a conversion kit? officer pods and anything else that isn't a "good guy" mech. as far as the 1/60 vs. 1/48 debate, hey i had them all at one point, so i really don't have much to complain about. before then, it was bandai or takatoku....imagine if yamato never made VF-1's at all and we had were MPC's.
  24. things are moving along nicely. i can't wait til you get this badboy finished.
  25. Hey, I only used a single drop of white elmers glue to keep it from falling in battroid mode, plus a movable airbrake was not that important to me. well elmers glue works nice too and comes off nice. when people say "glue" i always think of krazy glue. oh i used some elmers glue for the FP mini-missiles(the 2 in each launcher that just don't stay on) and it works like a charm.
