the toynami boxes are cool i guess but i don't have any MPC's so i wouldn't know. the only thing i want yamato to do is decrease the size of ther boxes so it won't cost me an arm and a leg to get them from HK. shipping is way too expensive all because of the ridiculously oversized boxes that they use.

nice dude! i've been wanting to do my own TV max but i was planning on using pre-existing paint parts. only problem is, i'd have to sacrifice both a super max and the 1A max to keep the painting to a minimum.

we all await the UCS MF but i don't think it'll happen unless lego decides to release another $200+ set in the SW line. its probably the most desired set amongst all the AFOL's out there in the world. hopefully it'll become a reality? the b-wing is my favorite too!

well to answer some questions, the MSRP is $119.99 and can be ordered through lego S@H. the released date is Nov. 2nd but they usually ship before the official release dates so probably last week in Oct. its almost 1500 pieces so its not a bad deal if considering the per piece. $120 is expensive but its better than $140....yes my cup is half full. UCS b-wing? i've been waiting 5 years for that. UCS a-wing? again 5 years. theres a guy that makes all his own custom UCS ships, heres the link... MORE UCS SHIPS! a UCS valkyrie? i remember there was a member here that posted some pictures of a big ass valkyrie they were building. it wasn't finished cause he had some design/weight issues and he never came back to post any updates. minifig scaled valkyries are out there as well as instructions over at foundrydx.com(you gotta pay) or you can download them from brickcommander.com(everything is free). another systems scaled y-wing is unlikely cause lego just re-released the y-wing and tie advanced a 3rd time. first was the 7150, then the 7152, and last month or so they released 7262(y-wing is the same a slight design change to DVs tie). the tie-int looks bad ass but its not very movie accurate. its good enough that it wouldn't bother the average SW fan but a nitpicker would have a field day with it. IMO, its one rocking set, no complaints here. and yes the UCS Snowspeeder is pretty much the shiznit. it doesn't have much detail but lego did a great job of making it as close to movie accurate as possible.

you might want to go ahead and just placed the order through his site. i say this because hes more likely to respond to an order as opposed to responding to your PM. he just had a baby last week so he might be a little tied up(probably tired as heck too).

1/60 FP(fast packs) only fit on the following, 1S strike roy 1J super hikaru 1J super max and millia 1D VE VT yamato screwed up big time with these cause they couldn't make up their minds. every 1/48 is FP capable. the backpack armor has diecast inserts that slide into each side of the backpack....holds them mighty tight! the arm armor clip on the arms over the gunpod slot. the leg armors are in two pieces. first attach the tank to the back of the leg, then attach the leg armors on the sides. the clear FP's are cool. you should get atleast a set just to say you got it. it provides views for the FP leg armor, the the backpack/booster details and shows the mini missiles. the regular blue covers are nice but the details are wasted since you can't see through them. the clear FP is an official yamato product so its pretty good quality wise, they are just as durable as the regular FP's. if you're planning to buy the FP kit, go to www.valkyrie-exchange.com , i think hes got them on sale. the clear FP's are sold out just about everywhere but some might be available through Shawn(one of the dudes that own this site) if he has any left? shoot him a PM but try to be patient. i think hes got a lot on his plate right now and i haven't seen him on the site in a while. if you need pictures, try looking through the "strike a pose" thread in the toys section or use the search function. hope that helps.

custom star wars light sabers

Do me a favor, elaborate on this please! I own the MR Anakin EL and am pretty satisfied - it looks cool, though I wish the durability was better (I've already had to do more than one bit of post-duel repair). What exactly makes Mr. Parks' work so superior? Durability is wonderful and I crave it, and the detachable blade is really cool, but are there other differences? And how much do you Parks owners miss the sound chip from the MR blades? To me, it's a major part of the experience! Just looking for some guidance, I am determined to get a Vader saber and really want the best one possible... well i don't own one yet but i did a buttload of research as of late. the MRFXLS's are kind of big since it takes 6 AA's as opposed to park which uses 1 9 volt(2, 9v for the ultrabright version) plus from what i've heard, the sound quality was pretty blah. the MRFX blades are skinney and not as durable as the parksaber blades....supposedly, you can get buck with the PS blades, the MR FX blades are good too but not as good. as far as the missing the sound, theres a company(can't remember the name right now) that makes custom sabers with the sound, the detachable blade with 360degrees of light(no black line running through the middle of the balde like with the FX and park blades) and its movie accurate. you can also just buy the "sound kit" and install it into an existing saber or have it install into a custom saber. the one i'm shooting for a custom saber with all the bells and whistles as opposed to the MR FX blades which aren't entirely that great in comparison to the other out on the market. most of the dudes making customs are making each piece by hand as opposed to factory built like the MRs. -
actually, theres no painting at all. its just a plain old sticker. the arrows outlines are leftovers from the FP sticker sheet. i just cut them to fit and stuck them on, it took about 10 seconds.

Ahhh, come on now. Be nice. Maybe if you behave yourself I'll let you feel my muscles at the next con. Why is it that the little girlie men always want to call me childish? It must be bicep envy. I mean seriously these sissy little girlie men are crying and whining about one thing or another and they they say I am childish?!!! HA! You don't need to bother with one of your loser replies, you can just hear me now and remember me later. typical(politically correct) A1 response, i love it! -

i only picked Agent One cause i know hes an avid mac 7 hater plus he always calling something or other gay. if someone says they hate something and that its gay, you also have the choice not to reply to it. again, ignore it and it will go away. by repsonding to it your only feeding ones hate. and we all know, hate leads to fear, fear leads to anger, anger leads to suffering. or whatever the heck yoda says in epi2. BTW, you calling him names isn't any better than him dissing mac 7. -
yamato, they can do no right, they can do no wrong.

this is pretty cool. its been posted before in the past as far as pics go but this guy just put it up on ebay.....anyone got $5,000 to spare? CARBONITE HAN

let me guess...Agent One got to you, huh? i can't speak for him directly, but he really means nothing by it. 99% of what he posts is just him having fun, its never really about trying to start beef with anyone. his "girlie man" antics seem to get under a lot of peoples skin but he just playing around...i think? hes the kind of guy you either love him or you hate him....i'm still kind of on the fence about that one. my advice, take his and others people posts with a grain of salt. you getting worked up about something only encourages more trash talking fromt eh trash talk-ee. if it doesn't have to do with your topic/question directly, just ignore it and it'll go away. -
i think the lego version is bigger and has more details believe it or not....the studs add to the illusion. the RBR is kind of the shiznit as a model and also piece count and parts go. luckly i picked these up at 60% off retail.

Thats actually not true. They showed up in Return of the Jedi during the massive fleet action over Endor...though most of what people saw was the MC-80s. I only recently noticed the Dreanought-class Cruiser in RotJ in the scene before the fleet jumps to Endor. alrighty then, they showed it for another 5 seconds in ROTJ. ahhh, the fanboys.

i'm sort of in agreement with you. its like when someone posts, why did you even bother to post this? this thread is so stupid? and phrases of the like. i mean then, why the heck are you posting? i think people should try and follow a simple rule in life, you got nothing nice to say, don't say it. i don't see why its so hard to see a topic you don't like or think is stupid and leave it be? its really not that hard to not post, especially if you have no interest in the topic or the thread. just move along especially if its been discussed to death. i'm with you dude. -
thats the lego version...nice ain't it. i was really surprised it even made it onto the store shelves to beign with. they only showed the sucker for about 10 seconds in the beginning of ANH and never again. its just weird cause theres a bunch of things that could've/should've been released but haven't to date.

i hope you know that thats our notorious mechafreak, aka alex medina, aka JT70 who stole a bunch of money from members here. someone should find out where this a-hole lives and beat the living crap out of him. i hope you realize, he sells stupid things with no value to get his rating up, then turns around and sells a high ticket item and doesn't deliver. i hate this phucker!

Bongs and valks rock! The nun approves! LMAO! love the avatar dude, i might have to steal it.

That's been out for 2 years now. the ISD is one set i only have 1 of. i haven't even bothered building yet. i figure i'll eventually get to it this winter or just keep it sealed and sell it for grip sometime down the road, but i'll probably end up building it seeing as i've had it sitting in my house for months. i generally don't buy dups of non-systems sets(sets with no minifigs) as i'm a minifig person. i sold my extra UCS x-wings since i bought them for $65 each and sold them for $200+. and i sold my extra UCS tie-ints that i picked up for $40 for $100+.....all for macross toys of course.

A game has to do a lot more than that to get my interest nowadays... having been playing games since the days of pac man and moon patroll all the way up to today I find myself so disenchanted with most games. It takes a real genre twister or an advance in the feel, look or play mechanics of a game to make me sit up and take notice. BF1942 to me was just Quake 2 with trucks. One big "meh". Now SW:BG seems like BF1942 with AtSt's. Once again, "meh". Yet again I have the typical whiny fanboy reaction of "they could have done so much more with the game than they did" but it is what it is, a simple shooter with trucks featuring SW things. i see your POV but your describing every single game out there, they're all the same, especially any/all the FP shootem ups. if it ain't a shotem up, its some sort of building game like kohan. so if thats the case, you'll never be happy. slightly off topic, but if you're a old school video game fan, you might want to get some ROM's and hook up your PC. i'm sure you already have but my friend just constructed his own little video game machine(mostly for street fighter ) he went to some video game repair place and bought a set of joysticks and some buttons and hooked up a 2 player coffee table. it sounds silly but its kind of sick if you like the old school games.
