Well it depends. The MPCs aren't THAT bad but if those are the choices, I go with Yamato. actually, they are THAT bad. if you can pick them up for $40 or less, its not so bad but thats just the price, the actual toy on the other hand.....

Hehe... That was me.. I still haven't finished it. Chances are, I'll have to make the legs solid before it will stand up, but I'm stranded at college away from my legos as the moment. No room for them here in my apartment. There is one part that may hold it up, but I'll need to buy 2-3 AT-ATs first to get the parts, or find them online (it's a pretty rare part), and I'm pretty broke right now. Btw, I spent a few years perfecting my own UCS versions. They were all in pseudo-mini-fig scale, but I paid strict attention to the classic proportions of the originals. I had an X-Wing, Y-Wing, B-Wing and A-Wing... but I kind of obsessed about the scaling.. I built the X-Wing first, then calculated a scale based on the number of studs long the ship was. Yeah, I'm like that. The X-Wing came out to be about 18 inches long, the Y-Wing was about 2 feet long, the A-wing about 14-15 inches, and the B-wing was a little over 2 feet.. umm.. wide? Anywho, I have photos, but not here. The B-Wing and Y-Wing were taken apart to make the Valk, but the X-Wing and A-Wing are still in my closet. The A-wing turned out best I think, very carefully layered with plates to get the right shape. I just wish I had them here. i wish i could see some pics. its always good to see what other techniques people are using to create their MOC's...you know for inspiration..../theft. if you weren't broke ass hell, you could've taken advatage of the buy to get one fre deal....damn thats a good deal.

stick with the good stuff like yamato, takatoku, bandai, anything just not anything made by toynami, their shiet sucks. you'll never be more disappointed in your life until you open up one of those craptastic MPC's....total POS.

no value huh? you ever hear of the guy that took ownership of the moon as well as the other 8 planets? go talk to that billionare about how space has no value. you dont' know whats out there, so for all you know, they coudl find the next unlimited fuel source or something of that nature. the dude(rich mofo) set up the x-prize(10 mil) so he could have a leg up when it comes time to commericialize space travel....i say 10 million is a pretty good investment since every kid growing up since the beginning of time has wanted to be an astronaut or fly in to space. i'm a grown ass man and i still want to go. so you'd rather have NASA's stupid ass spending our tax dollars(which could be better spent on anything else) instead of some super rich dude who fronting all his money? what are you smoking and can i get some?

i don't get TiVo?, i mean i get the concept but you'd never go to sleep, there would always be something to watch wouldn't there? i cut off my cable because of this, you start to watch a movie, it sucks, but you've watched too much of it to just shut it off, then all of the sudden its 4:00 in the morning. oh and i'm down for any and all lesbian TV shows.

i watch the gilmore ho's(as i like to call them) sometimes, its pretty funny when i do catch it and that alexis bledel is just too fine...and the mom, ooooooo a total MILF. i finally watched some of LOST the other night, it was kind of meh. basically its a higher budget version of The Lost World IMO. its the same plot, some folks get stuck on a plateau, this case an island, they're surrounded by dinosaurs, in this case weird cross bred creatures, and they're trying to find out whats out there and get off the island/plateau....nothing new, just a rehashed version of a similar story like the rest of TV/movies out there.

i watched a special on this on Nightline last night and look forward to space travel becoming a reality. they say by the year 2007, they will be commercial flights into space for about $200K. they spoke of NASA and how they've held a monopoly for so long and its come to an end with the x-prize contest. finally, some new minds/talent can enter the ranks of space exploration without having to go through all the ridiculous government crap to get there. hopefully i'll be a very rich man within the next few years and get a ticket on that sucker. its always been a dream of mine(as well as many)to be go into space and now the possibity is within reach...super cool.

well if you don't care about the boxes, you can always just tell them to toss'em and just ship all the valk and accessories....they might be willing to do that for you if you're buying a bunch of them? i can't see why it would be a problem.

dude, they're like $3 or something ridiculous for the regular ones and $5 for the supers. so its either one 1/48 or about 40-50 banprestos. they only give discounts(30-40%) if you have a wholesale account with them.

Hard to say....I have the a few more VF1A Hikaru reissues coming in this week or next week. Hmmm I might need to get some more 1/48s. seeing as you have so many, you might want to sell a few and pay for some of your collection. no better deal than FREE!
