Here's a quick question. Is that red and white VF-1 a Jack Archer plane from the game? I bought the game so I should actually play it to find out. It looks a lot like it.
-
I totally agree. Awesome custom, pictures need to be a shade better however.

NEW Official MPC Thread!!!
waylandcool replied to FRED THE FRENCH's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yes they are out. Kevin at http://www.valkyrie-exchange.com and Tam at http://www.tmpanime.com are shipping now. Thanks for the heads up. I am definately thinking about checking that one out. -
Everything Hasbro puts out recently has the damn ties and bands on them. Armada was horrible and Energon is picking up right where Armada left off. Enough with the earthquake proof packing Hasblow.

Has the Jack Archer MPC come out yet???? -
I figured that was the case. I was planning on ordering some of their limiteds anyways as soon as they return my email about how people who aren't fluent in Japanese order from their site. Thank you again for the translation gnollman. I appreciate you taking the time to help me. Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Great looking valk. I'd call that scheme the Yellowjacket. Unless that's a really dark blue instead of black.

Are you in the Military or did you join?
waylandcool replied to DatterBoy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I did consider the Navy and the Marines after high school. I even talked to a Marine recruiter at my house that summer. I decided on the JuCo route instead. I regret it every now and then since my grandpa, dad and one of my uncles all served in the Army. Then I hear about the latest deaths in the middle east and suddenly I feel better. -
I haven't seen this particular one at Wal-Mart yet. But knowing the inventory of all the stores around here, I may not seen it for another two or three weeks. There are a lot of empty store shelves here.

After today's ep I'm really upset that they're taking two weeks off. Is it just me or is Tony going to drop in the next three eps?

The expert has now spoken. -
This is an idea that should have been left on the table. Its going to suck badly.
-
Yes he was. At the very end of the ep, Tony said said that the plan was to get Jack back in to Hector and Ramon's organization. Then Jack activated the beacon to let everyone know where he is. And Chase is going to get into real deep trouble unless Jack can buy enough time to keep him alive until the hammer falls on the bad guys.

You know Galatica does remind me of SAAB alot. Especially the camera angles and shot choices. SAAB failed because it was a dark, real show that didn't fly back in 1995 because the world wasn't ready for a show that style. Now it probably does take off for the same reasons. Overall, while I wasn't impressed by Galatica, it didn't aggrevate me either. Most of my complaints have been ably voiced by others but they include: the XO can't act The off-screen action pissed me off Mary McDonald's character was such a melodramatic wuss it isn't funny Baltar was a shade too brooding Not one clear shot of a Basestar Starbuck was a little too butch

I'm 27 years old. I've got a dozen valks of various sizes.

Those things are hard to find and expensive. They are going for an easy two hundred on Ebay right now.

That was amazing. He had to have been playing for at least a few years straight to go through it that fast. I almost want to bust out my SMB 3 and try it. However sleep would then be a problem.

Sneak Peaks at Robotech: Invasion...
waylandcool replied to 1st Border Red Devil's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I'm really tempted not to get because of the cheap cop-out storytelling at the end of "Love and War". Yune screwed that up royal and I'm sure he'll do something stupid at the end of this one too. -
I have a new wallpaper now. Great custom.

My Starscream Custom & Collection #9 Review
waylandcool replied to ComicKaze's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I have all six of the orginal G1 seekers and the three Takara reissues plus Sunstorm and the gap between the wings and body is the same on all of them. So what ever the issue there is, it started from the beginning. -
Found a way to remove paint on toys !!!
waylandcool replied to Montarvillois's topic in The Workshop!
I have used Scalecoat paint stripper in the past and it works on plastics beautifully. It does metal too without damage but it works slowly on metal so it could become an all-day project. It also is hard to find as 99.9% of the people who use it are model railroaders. The shop that I used to get it from went under about two years ago so I'm looking for another supplier. I've used oven cleaner at the restaurant I used to work at and I've never seen it screw up metal, which is what I used it on. Of course I used Super Grime Away not Easy-Off. -
That looks great. I especially like the blue shark mouth. I got to check those decals out.

The part about that that kills me is there are millions of kids who played with Gen 1 TF's back in the day andNONE of us have injuries or hearing loss or blindness due to our TF's. Any kid who manages to poke himself in the eye with Optimus Primes smokestack should removed from the gene pool post haste.
