People get so passionate about Schwarzenegger... it brings a tear to my eye.
-
one would assume that as long as magnetism and the gereral rules of physics don't cease to exist... indefinately. I think that was in refrence to the fact that the magnet is imbeded in the wing and could punch through the other side.
-
Why don't you post a pic of those on the wing?

Arnold's feelings on pumping up: (funny) http://www.nilsparker.com/mm/arnold-is-com...ming-louder.mov

It all depends on where in California you want to live. If you want to live in Manhattan Beach, you are talkin' like $150k minimum, if you are talkin, Irvine then you can make $35k and be doing ok. In San Francisco, you need something like $55k as a minimum. However getting that in San Francisco is pretty easy. There are neighborhoods in San Francisco though where you can't rent a place for less than $5k per month.

Other Anime and Science Fiction = Terminator/Preditor/others = Arnold the action star = Arnold the Body Builder = Celebration of a phenomonal career.

I love the Spice Girls.

YES I WAS! However I can't stay away from the office. Seriously, this thread is about an immigrant who came to the US with nothing... and became the greatest. He has inspired me in my personal life, and my professional life and to that inspiration I owe so much. I commend the Mods in their great job monitoring this thread. I did notice that some posts needed to be TERMINATED, it is unfortunate that some members are not mature enough to handle the separation of one of their fellow members being inspired, and politics. You have gone above and beyond to keep this thread clean and I am in debt to you. some for the Mods!

Another truly awesome image or the Oak. Pumping Iron days.
-
Yeah, Arnold has never been what I would consider to a "well dressed" man. Kinda makes him more human though.
-
Yeah, that too. And let's not forget his brilliant performance in Batman and Robin... Ehverybahdy FREEZE. Vostok 7 I have 2 for you.... Last Action Hero and Eraser. You are nuts, Eraser was good. By the way, do you like ANYTHING!? Not trying to pick on ya' but you haven't been that excited about any form of entertainment in months.
-
So who has seen Pumping Iron? THAT is probably the most entertaining documentery I have ever seen.
-
Mods, feel free to nuke ALL political comments out of this thread. This thread is to praise an entertainer, nothing more

Its Art (sort of). some people will love it, some will hate it. some people thing Monet is great, some think hes absolute crap. some people like Robert Frost, some don't. disagreements over it are common. not liking something because its not pleasing to the eye doesn't necessarily make one a "Raving Fanboy". Disagreements are fine. Constructive criticism is ok with me but on MW whining and nitpicking is the norm. Hate to jump into an issue that I don't really care about, but that isn't fair. The gripes are real and grounded and I wouldn't consider what is going on here as whining... now what goes on in the Toy forum, that is a different story. -
Yeah, Yeah... Arnold did do some lame ass movies. Junior, is one I actually haven't seen because I don't want to see Arnold like that. Ture Lies, thanks for bringing it up. Who would have thought you could merge the maximum muscle and destruction that is Schwarzenegger with an espionage plot, then throw a family element in there and have a winner!
-
I think it got a bad rap because of that retarted kid they had in it. But hey, I liked Raw Deal, I think I may be the only one that liked that one. Blaine23 is going to blast me for liking that movie
-
The call on that issue was "no" because MW is website that caters to the world, and Yamato only has liscence to sell Macross stuff in Japan. There is currently this legal thing going on invloving who has the rights to distribute Macross stuff. I think there may be a thread about it somewhere...

Maybe Basara was modeled after Harry Potter! Or a cross between a fairy and Harry Potter.

The veins aren't that bad in comparison to TODAY's body builders. The sport hasn't done itself a favor in my opinion becomming comsumed with definition as much as it has. Chemical enhancment is to blame, but it is kind of the nature of the sport unfortunately.

I would imagine not... They probably glued every piece.

IE- Someone screwed up. "Variant Cover" my ass. No, sir! The EDSEL isn't a horrible mistake! It's a Variant Automobile! IMO they look worse when they do this. They should just ignore their mistake. It almost makes them look like they spend their days reading MW, and once they saw this thread... -
There is to be no political discussion in this thread… It is against the Terms of Use of Macross World Inspired by the Austrian Oak When I was a little kid, in the time period when I stopped chewing on the furniture and started watching Macross, I began to look up certain individuals in society. Of course I borderline worshiped Ronald Reagan, there was another that I looked up to. When I was probably about 7 years someone handed me a Guinness Book of World Records. I was certainly excited about the book, as I liked to laugh at the fat people, however I noticed one page that really caught my interest. The “Best Physique Award” was given to a guy who at the time had just won a few Mr. Olympia competitions. He looked like a God. Almost like a machine (I was too young to have seen Terminator yet, and I am not sure it was even out yet). I showed the page in the book to my Father and asked if Arnold was strong. My Father smiled told me that he saw a movie the year I was born called, “Pumping Iron” and it seemed to him that Arnold was the most powerful man alive. He bought me some books that featured Arnold that focused on the sport of Body Building and for my next birthday I got a weight set. From early on I became dedicated to physical fitness, and had two role models Schwarzenegger for being physically powerful and Reagan for his political power, who knew that Arnold and I shared the admiration for Reagan also. Arnold has inspired me to push myself physically ever since I really could, he gave me the motivation to get into the gym when I was a skinny kid and brought me to victory in the county wide physical fitness competitions for the Cub Scouts, then the ability to dominate in Wrestling, Swimming, and Track in High School, then to playing college Rugby with a National Championship winning team. So I wanted responses to this thread to be either discussions of Arnold’s movies, or his career in general, have fun!

Wait, there's more to Robotech than just The Macross Saga!? Actually... no. -
Yep... Looks like a sissy to me. He is a wimpy little girly-man. They're all sissies, especially when compared to: Yep.
