Very nice, its great to see someone else trying to gussy this baby up. I added a little detail here and there but yours is pretty ambitious. One thing thats kept me from finishing is I would like the rear hatch to be openable.(is that a word?) I added some magnets to help but coming up with a hinge system has stopped me dead in my tracks. Until I saw that line art you posted. Wish me luck.

Dude, stay away at all costs from the MiM kit! Its just a really bad recast. Be patient, its pops up from time to time. And a great kit was made by a poster here, valk009 i believe. You can try him and see if he has anymore available.

Basically, Ive given up trying to find a Tanmen f-203 Dragon kit so Im going to scratch build one. Im wondering though if there is a real plane out there that would serve as a good starting point. Say for wings or fuselage? Any ideas?

A Gnerl would be awesome!!! How big would that be in 1/72? Some sources Ive found listed its length at 17 meters but that doesnt seem right to me.

I just finished building mine and was about to paint tham until I saw this thread. Im also disappointed with the Legioss. Its just uninteresting. Now Ive got to find this Imai kit you used. Is it just the plane or is this the transforming kind? Does it matter?
