    Yamato 1/48 M&M

You know what you should do to rabbid dogs right (J/K) No chance Yamato would release them without FP's .....just 2 FP-sets????
  2. If any one is meaning my reply in the 1/48 Max and millia thread to Member Erik L's? It was meant to make a joke about his -very late- doublepost
  3. Nightbat

    Yamato VF-1s 1/48

I would,... in 1/60 (it would be huge in 1/48)
  4. Kids *sniff* they grow up so fast....
  5. Yes, they sent in the "Booby Duck" (this btw is a topic for the 'Newbie-thread")
  6. All of Toynami's stuff is limited editions. and all, except for the 1J, still available at RT.com one "Must Have" for Valk collectors -to me anyway- a 1/55 1S Super
  7. don't look at me
  8. Except for the Low-Vis, So far noone ended up without the valk of their choice unless they jumped in VERY late Why would Yamato limit the production? if it were the standard VF-1J I could understand, since they were releasing a FP one and Non-FP one, but numbers combined would probably be a complete production run No need to get Bandai-paranoia over these 2 *something sure went wrong there Erik
  9. In other words, (as with that VF-XYZR1 whatever) after almost 20 years they're still ripping off other people's ideas and have no drop of creativity in any member of their staff Just an observation HG claims to have "World"-distributing rights, but frankly, Robotech merchandise is harder to come by here in europe compared to Macross guess they aren't "minding the shop" again huh?
  10. Ofcourse they are, it's what you see in the series as well dunno if anyone has pics of the 1/60 M&M with the Hikaru 1-J Fp's mounted? But i doubt it will look as good as with the matching Fp's

  12. ???? they did on mine * MISB VF1J, Box WITH velcro-closed cover - only $1000,-
  13. WHOOOOOOSSSSHHHHH *sound of my money being flushed down the toilet O well,... too bad the preorder button is missing in the Millia But preordered Max anyway
  14. If the tank is placed up front enough, the low seatheight and the long wheelbase, all that weight in the back may be compensated enough for good accelleration I see problems in the frameconstruction using it's frontbrake and taking a few bumps at too high speed chances are he's gonna be using the ground to wipe his ass after a few km I would've used oval or round tubes for it's frame or placed the square tubes diagonally
  15. Rumour: Yamato might make a GPB in the future Truth: "Might" doesn't mean "Will" and the 1J has already been released with Fastpacks Speculation: "if" there will be a GPB, very doubtfull it will come with the 1j in a nutshell: NO! Welcome to MW LSB (and if you want to add an avatar go to the My Controls tab below the pic of the SDF bridge at the top) edit: Crap, too late.... Don't blame me, English is not my native language
  16. Just a dream
  17. It seems to me that the city's "Dome" is a very simple construction to add on to a 1620m long SDF-2 frame and from the picture it appears to be 2/3 of its entire length which could make the Megaroad's final length almost 5000 meters But if the Zentradi ship behind it is Britai's 4000m long Nupetiet Vergnitz Than the M1 (even though you can't be sure because of the perspective) looks 3/4 of it's length being around 3000m long at most
  18. Heheh Yeah, Kawamori already designed the VF-0 so it could be realised as a toy without compromises (on one hand I applaud it, on the other it's misses innovation and experimentation -welcome back chunky Monkey!) it would be even more lame if they were to make another Macross series with enemies designed not for the storyline but for commercial purposses
  19. Guess you've answered your own question If I remember the last "announcement thread" things also got somewhat out of hand (IIRC Graham had to cancel his newsflash then because Yamato asked him to,... this wasn't well recieved or it was the quadrano-spill the beans-story ....anyways... I remember a not so smooth speculation thread some time ago)
  20. actually scale is everything to me it's the reason I want the 1/60 Monster and Q-rau since it's not a cop-out because of it's size the difference in vehicle size bugged me ever since transformers (yes I know his was needed to create the difference in robot size, but still...) It's also the size I believe they shouldn't release enemy mecha in 1/48 since they would be to large to display or play with and releasing them in a size smaller would be the aforementioned cop-out and I'm no model-fan
  21. Mine was one of those 1/72 (?) Arii Super Battroid action figures the cannon fodder type My sister gave it as a gift My first real valk was the Yamato 1/60 1A (for only €45,- a steal!!)
  22. That thread was discussed recently, and closed by a mod I for one thinks the guy cheated
  23. Y'know If budweiser wouldn't be so dangerous to use without permission I'd say the Bud-Missile it's even more famous than the Petite Cola Vending machine Or how about the pineapple salad? Tell me: What item or character defines "MacrossWorld?"
  24. Won't be any different than taking out choppers what you also seem to forget is that the Japanese wouldn't have a notion of what the hell is on their asses if a tomcat were to make a low pass over a squadron of zeros doing Mach 1.5 chances are it would take out half of them just due to the sonic wave Tomcats can also fight from higher altitude, longer range, they don't need to get in close If they play their cards right, the zeros never even saw what hit them
