  1. HWR, I wouldn't put it past you... and hey, I just got my liscense, so, seeing as you obviosuly won't be needing that minivan in the background anymore... Seriously, looks great so far... can't wait to see it completed.

    Warning

Like kensei said, if it works, dont worry, but if OUT OF THE BOX the joint doesn't move, stop applying pressure and disassemble it... it seems to be a manufacturing hiccup, not a developing problem for already handled valks... Wish I could take a pic of the damage as I still have the broken hip for my Roy, but the box and valk are way away in storage right now...
  3. well, games are all I care about, so great.
  4. Alright...totally stupid question... is the PSP region free? Like, if I buy the JP Gundam game, will it run on my US PSP?
  5. You mean the non-clicky revoltech joints? they're actually very easy to take apart and fix with clear nail polish (I did it to my floppy silver Eva.) Take the whole assembly out of the arm holes, and then you've gotta look at it. It's basically just a normal joint held together with a pin, and the pin comes right out, but one end is flanged slightly wider and the other side is not tapered bc/ it is the inserted side... you want to figure out which is the smaller end, and use some blunt object (like a piece or plastic rod or maybe a scissor tip) and simply push the pin back out. Then you can pull the two halves of the swivel apart, add some clear nail polish to the friction points, and reassembled...
  6. I like it alot too, but yeah, bullet holes thru the FAST pack missile pylon would be bad...
  7. Just got my Soltic today... another fantastic release.... KN, whose elbow joints are you referring to?

IO, you're pretty much spot on... same thing happened to me after I tightened up the shoulders with nail polish and screwing...
  9. I got a neato Spy-character from my access point that was a great boost early on... gonna try getting to some other access points this week and see what I get... it's a wonky and totally appropriate MGS-esque feature...

    Warning

Wow, that many? it only happened on my 3rd ed Roy...
  11. I'm not huge on the PVP stuff eitehr, but the single player of MGS:PO is AMAZING! I've been playting it since I got it last weekend... it's simply incredible, very well broken up into small (but sweet) missions, and feels great... looks better than the origianl MGS too. I couldn't be happier.

    Warning

NB4M, I think it was more a specific production run problem where they assembled the hips too soon after painting the hip bar and it bonded there, so the problem was Out of Box, cuz 2 other 1/48s sit in poses for a good long time and never had any problems...
  13. Alright, so anyone know now why the HCM Sazabi is listed for a December import? BBTS had it for October, then November, and now December... wtf is going on? I want my HCM Zabi!
  14. I think that if you're happy to pay extra to get an item sooner (within reason) is really not that big a deal... I mean, twenty bucks on something that already cost almost $200 isn't that big a deal, especially when it's something as incredible (and worth it sounding) as this new toy... and as for BBTS's slightly higher (at times) prices... I'm more than happy to pay them bc/ I've used Joel for a good long time now, and with BBTS's prices, you're also paying for his outstanding customer service and helpfullness... he'll fix any problem you could possibly think of at costs to him...

    Warning

Haha, thanks for the warning Kensei.... that happened to my VF-1S Roy from the last run... big ole' chunk of the sucket broke off, so I had to get a replacement hip socket from here on the boards... I'm pretty sure you're right, the rubber bit is slighty bonded with the paint on the ball...
  16. I dunno, I'm really happy with the 0A for 160, but over 200 for the boxed set, and 60 for the Ghost seem high....
  17. I knew about the amazon sales... got the PG RX-78-2 for like 50 bucks... heard some not so great things about the durability of the WZC, so I didn't get it...
  18. You know, 160 USD for the bundle doesn't sound too bad at all considering my VF-0A cost almost that much... I'm almost tempted to save up for the bundle...
  19. I really don't know about any conversion kits, but if you have pics, I'd be interested to see... are the kits you bought MG or the older 1/144 HG or NG ones? I had Deathscythe and Wing Gundam in the old 1/144 line, and loved them until they broke...
  20. The W0 ver. Ka and WZC are drastically different...
  21. I'm really really glad to hear the durability is solid... cuz like Graham, I handle and play with my toys...
  22. Oh, cool.... I've already got a good skin for mine, but that one's pretty sweet too... picked it up this morning, and played for like an hour... it's really good, the controls are alright, but I realized how rusty I am at MGS stealthing... I did horrible,.... hopefully once I get the hang of these controls I'll be back to super-undetectableness, but the game is awesome looking and sounding so far.... I'm very happy.
  23. I've got the Round Mover finally, and it does come with the joint bits.... looks reallay amazing with them mounted... can't wait to decal and weather mine...
  24. Can't wait to grab my copy of MGPO on saturyda Keith, what's the Metal Gear Solid protective case you mentined? Sounds cool...
