  1. Wow, that's a totally solid sounding setup. Give me Stane and the Monger first, but make sure to give me a not-so-subtle mention of the Mandy so I know there's more coming...
  2. Yeah, RDJ was pretty funny and snarky like Stark can be, and I loved it.
  3. Sounds good to me... I'm sure it will be great when done.
  4. Lol, he can't die even when HE wants to.
  5. I was soooooo happy to hear Sabbath there!
  6. Finally watched the trailer and oh man, I am SOOOO excited now... that trailer was simply perfect... give me 3 hours of that and I will go see it multiple times and buy every special ed. DVD that comes out
  7. So it's Saving Private Chirico? Seriously, while COMPLETELY AWESOME LOOKING!, that amphibious landing both doesn't really make sense from an AT deployment standpoint AND was ripped right out of SPR... ATs can be parachute dropped in.... why go amphibious?
  8. I HIGHLY recommend the Patlabor figures.... they are a blast to fool around with, as are the Dougram figures. Hopefully, since the Macross Revoltech figure turned out to be legit, we will get that Votoms Scopedog Revoltech figure pictured a while ago along with the VF-1J...
  9. Yeah, they'll be significantly smaller than the Toynami superposables, but IMO they are a very good size for really playing with or just stashing one or two on your desk to show-off...
  10. Yeah, that works, but the kid-ones would be hotter if they didn't have freak heads as well...
  11. Same here... I'd love to get one bc/ I do like the design, but don't want any hassle.
  12. They have big creepy heads....
  13. It works in Battletech. And they were fricken amazing.
  14. Oh, really? I thought it was more of an actual movie... guess I need not worry about it so much...
  15. So, where can I find the Live, Love, Alive movie? I've been on the prowl for ages now...
  16. I'm no expert on modern armor (but I'm well-versed in WWII,) but I'm willing to say that it's certainly between the Merkava, Chally2, and Leo2...
  17. That's..... so.... stupid. I agree, they always have AMAZING looking stuff (I would still love to get some SM detail bits like shoulderpads and whatnot to finish off the BA figures I'm never going to play with) but it's all just so overpriced... and that resin in-efficiency kinda makes sense for the price rediculousness...
  18. Yeah, DoW is what got me started too, and it is an AMAZING game! It's just too bad there's nowhere to translate that experience to the tabletop...
  19. New color pics of the DMZ Turbo Custom! Looks pretty awesome... comes with all the weapons so you can buy four and have the whole team from Last Red Shoulder (what a marketing ploy! and so tempting!!) Legs look a tad squat in those photos tho... the lower legs especially... and the torso looks really wide for some reason. No sign of the articulated fingers either... still, I am stoked for this to be my first DMZ and it looks great overall... for the first large toy of the TC, who can complain?
  20. OFT^2 This basically sums up WH40K in a nutshell for me... the only group you forgot are the rules lawyering 'serious gamers' that play at tournies to win by being an ass and forgetting that games are meant to be fun. The price of a Baneblade is still a good point... regardless of where it is priced for a plastic kit, it'll still be infinitely cheaper than the FW model... which drives me nuts, cuz I always consider getting a FW model or two, bc/ resin models are alot of fun, but the price on FW stuff is soooo prohibitive that I cannot figure it out... resin just DOESN'T cost that much. For the price of any of the really neat and large kits, I could instead get like 4 large garage kits of anime properties... wtf?
  21. Looks great so far, but ban, that frame needs a wash or something
  22. I think WD had a mention of it an issue or two ago... it is true. What a monster of a kit... coming from GW I'm afraid of how much that will cost... if it were a normal all-plastic tank kit (not for gaming) it probably wouldn't cost more than $30-$35, but being a GW gaming model that size it will probably be almost twice that.
  23. I've always wanted to send them an email or two trying to open their eyes to all the import toys coming from Japan... maybe this'll help.

    1/48 VF-1D

You know, I THINK John put the needed drill sizes either on the directions, or somewhere on the SM site.. easiest thing might be to just PM him and ask... I have the right sized bits in a baggie at home with the kit but that's all in storage...
  25. I would find it remarkably unlikely that those little figures are anything more than Micro-machines-esque minifigs to stand next to the Legioss and put in the cockpit for scale and such... I'm sure they'll be hella fun to go nuts painting tho
